tbh this serves the purposes of the mod.
But if you want more and are a perfectionist (sigh) then perhaps use more colours to differentiate the separate parts of the ship other than the dark grey wire-frame? although so many shades of grey will always still be grey.
Anyway that's from a photographic viewpoint; the random light anonymity is probably out of my depth with digital.
Love the watchmen reference there. Amazing commitment you have put towards this by comparison to your previous updates (especially since you have had to scrap your old designs). Cant wait for the new game mechanics, and your own individual race input into sins; should be fun to explore the race; that was missing.

Aliens, robots and now jet packs?! if this game gets lazers added into it there is absolutley no way i can avoid buying....
maybe if there was a way to make the debris pick randomly one to be the ships the body it could give the effect your after?
loving the new technology, though if i saw every ship spin off exactly the same way, would completely ruin its appeal, maybe this should only happen if you disable a ship first or some other special event, either way add this to the mod but dont replace this with the old ones. still would be interesting to see this on a imp star destroyer or something else big, wonder if it would turn into a space husk?

thats a shame, i guess it depends on the player count as to how useful carriers will be. however i would of thought if you used a system similar to flak 88s wing man/bot system you could simulate proper carrier npcs
so i saw your shiney carrier, will it be able to hold npc mobs that you can control, or is strictly a player holder only thing?
pretty sure iv played this map, you capture the sam sites and they take down the blimp (which has your commander inside). twas very fun
if the bull squids eat ant lion grubs, then why arent the honeycombs hollow? surely that would be a great atmospheric tool as to what territory your heading towards. as well as rewarding the more keen eyed player?
