You are still working on this? Madness!
Pretty decent looking, its going to be a lot of work but good luck anyway.
Yes but they need to be scripted in. I never got around to doing that when I was working on Obsidian. :(
Ack, furry player models. ;)
They don't come with obsidian if anyone wonders, its just possible for people to use customs if they choose. No illegal downloading of copy written material is forced upon players either. You must download one of the model packs people have released to get this.
I don't believe you need to own episode 1 or episode 2 for that matter to have the engine binaries for them and be able to run mods for either engine.
Good to see this posted, a lot of interesting content to be seen I am sure.
I was impressed by the detail put into this mod. Everything works as it should. The game play is rather dated, but the team accomplished what they were going for and that's what counts. Good job, and to those looking for a job in the industry and this as their portfolio centerpiece, good luck with your future endeavors.
Doesn't look like moddb has accepted the file. Download via our site.
We are still waiting for moddb to accept the 1.3 mod installer. In the mean time, download from our website at www.obsidianconflict.com
Wait up for 1.3, which is on its way. Come hang out on the forums in the mean time.
I have a guy that will be updating the moddb page, once I can figure out how to add them to the mods members list.
Thank you all for the Comments, we will continue to improve the mod. :)
Xmeagol: I'm no crazy coder, but porting those npcs over wouldn't be as hard as you think. Valve have made it surprisingly easy to create path finding AI of any type.
Valve Software Episode 1 map played coop.
Valve Software Episode 1 map played coop.
Sorry guys, uploaded 1.21 to moddb and updated the news. Added acouple misc screenshots of gameplay.
Love Zats, I hope those work well in this mod.
Not bad for a first release.
But..
Lag reduction is needed.
Bots arnt very smart.
Oppression should start with acouple tanks and troops. Or at least keep the rebels from them for a short time so they can build up.
Oppression should capture locations faster. I ran around a map and took back all the points by myself.
"i'd rather get out and enjoy life. "
Your kinda contradicting yourself there. Why are you here posting?
And good thing we havnt been working on this mod for 4 years, all together not including the times we took whole month breaks I would say we have only been working on it for about 5 months, maybe less.
Its still in beta as well so it shouldnt be considered some full mod until we get everything we planned to include finished.
At least there are many other coop mods that are trying hard to be as good as Sven.
We are still in beta so there are some issues and such to get around but we will have a patch out soon enough.
We are currently tracking a nasty little bug we believe is causing all the crashes.
The image can be edited manually, but currently we have not implemented other shapes.

I specialize in programming. My language of choice is the great C++, scripting languages are only good to assist C++ in its ultimate goal of taking over the world. I do have a general knowledge of Lua, Python, and HTML. My first language was Pascal on an old SE30 Macintosh. I can also model, animate, and have experience in several tools including but not limited to Hammer, Sandbox, and QERadiant. I am currently working on my own engine so I can have a better grasp of Direct X and perhaps the OGL libraries. Projects: GTA LC - Ported Liberty City to Vice City.
