ive seen that. but its not what i mean. there are 3 firebase howitzer values. theres regular that effects american and gla howitzers. adn theres a plus one and plus two in the ini. right underneath it. plus one had lil change and plus 2 had another little change. i dotn member nwo what hte change was. but i thought it ment people inside the base but that wasnt it.
im not specificly askin creator. im askin anyone who has any idea. but now im pretty much givin up. was fun to mod it until i hit my snag

im just messing around with stuff in the .big file.
i always thought firebases where rather crappy so i went in there and found it in weapons data. and then i seen it had a plus one and a plus two. right under it each with slightly improved attack power. i think. so i thought of it like. first one could spray shells wildly. the second one could spred shells more focused but with less power over a larger area. then the last one the plus two. would be very weak but increaidbly focused and have massive range. but i dont know what the pluses are. ive added people in the squares. ive gave them both armors. set down the mines. but the firebases just stay at the original state of spreading the shells all over.
ive looked it up and i cant find anything talking about the pluses. and i love this mod and im modifing contras data so i figured id ask here. that and i have no where else to ask.

im not 100% but some mods effect files in the folder. and i think some mods also effect some other file. idk what kind but some sorta other file i guess...thats my theory
in the files it has 3 howitzers. one for reg. plus one. and plus 2. i think that means when u have people in the defences. and i modifed all 3. but even when i put someone in the howitzers they stay at stage one. any help?

i think it looked good liek this. i dont see any cartoony bits at all. i like how the turrets where seperate in the old version but this one was just fine. it doesnt look cartoony. it has round edges but round doenst mean cartoon...
thx. i love the mod and the radiation is a circle instead of a cloud and i prefer the circle much more real and i like to make rads stay forever. but then i have to send cleaners to there base lol. radiation makes a great wall also lol and if it damages buildings then it adds more use to cleaners lol.
is there some way to get the ai to use cleaners? i made it on contra so the radiation stays forever but they never try to clean up there base or anywhere. is there some way that they can be like oh look something that probly needs to be cleaned up?
i never likes stuff liek this. most the stuff doesnt get hit until its at ur base and the point of mortars and artillery is to hit them b4 they reach you. not as they knock on ur door
