If you have a bug, you must restart from the end of the previous level or a new save. The bug is stored in the first automatic save of the level. If you restart the level or use your save on another computer, you will have that bug again.

this patch does absolutely nothing ->

// StarCry // Very easy patch 1.14

- Damages on enemies +30%
- Damages on player's chest -20%
- Weaker guardian boss of Abydos
- More life for vehicles
- Two times more damages for the machine gun of the Centaur
- Gatling guns of Jaffa bosses two times less powerful
- Automatic turrets two times less powerful

----

Not only framedrops. You can have problems if your computer can't load the map fast enough (too much time or alt+tab when loading). Same if you're using a screen capture program, have a notification, or make an alt+tab while playing...
Custom dll support is not stable. Maybe the reason why they locked the use of AI for multiplayer.

That bugs are impossible to fix without the real source code of crysis and working directly on the machine. It depends of the player's hardware. I have none of those bugs on my PCs. Some people finished the mod many times without reporting this kind of bugs. We spent one more year developing this mod only for bugfixes, the SDK of crysis is an unfinished beta with a bad C++/DLL support for singleplayer. The AI can be out of sync in case of a too much important framerate drop or loading time (i saw a lot of memory leaks too).

The "easy mode patch" is not a bugfix patch, of course. It only lowers the difficulty of the mod.

I think that it will never be fixed or patched. I provided a few saves to skip the (boring) introduction levels.

Bugs might happen if it takes too much time to load the levels. Maybe it will be hard for you to play the next levels. Is your computer fast enough for the maximum level of details, with SSD?

He's a part of a scientist team at the beginning. No special training. He is incorporated later because of the alien knowledge acquired because of the alien box he found (the reason why he became translator on abydos and can read alien signs).

But that level was supposed to the the first one, we added that small tutorial for players to learn the basics at the first minutes of the game (using the digicode system etc). We added the current first level at the end (whiteout) of the development because the story wasn't clear enough. I think that today i would add the first introduction level as a flashback, later in the adventure, because it's too boring for players who only want action with the sci-fi assets.

I tested yesterday and i have no aiming problem. It is right that the staff is not accurate but there is a reason : it's a kind of rocket launcher that you can find everywhere. I remember that we had to limit the number of ammo too, because it broke completely the game (buying new weapons was useless). You have to use it only if you have nothing else. Maybe i will tweak it with a special patch.

I can kill 3 jaffas in a row without reloading the P90. So, it's pretty good weapon.

I will post a video this week about that.

We made that to balance them. They can be too powerful if too much accurate. So, we made three classes of weapons, from close to far range. Close have a lot of power or unlimited ammo, but are less accurate. Or we added an overheat system. But everything is easily moddable. We thought that maybe someone else could make a little tweak for the vehicles and the weapons. No one shared it. Maybe i could add something like that into the "very easy patch".

Unlimited ammo -> less accurate, of course ^^
But single shots are not so bad at middle range.
And the dual wield is really powerful.

Make sure you modified nothing about the game difficulty into the options of Crysis. We developed the mod for medium difficulty. Maybe it will cause a problem? I personally never had any difficulty problem, aiming is easy and the enemies have weak points where they have no armor (legs). Watch the two last trailers (weapon trailer) to check if it's the same for you. Many people finished the mod multiple times. The zat was calibrated for two shots.

We disabled quick saves at a few points of the mod because of bugs. The mod sdk of crysis never been finalized and we had very huge problems of stability, with saves, gamepad support etc. We made our best with what we had :)

A very easy patch is provided, did you try it?
