can you make it a Zip file? pls? it is annoying having to download and install winrar just for unpacking mods....
can we have more clear intructions for installing your mod? nothing of what I do works, keep reading your intructions and they are not clear enough, I didnt have this much trouble installing Tiberium essence for C&C3; nor Rejuvenation for RA3, but Im having troubles with your mod.
what exactly does you mod changes? the descriptions are rather ambiguous,"the empire is heavily dependent on energy" all the factions are heavely depended of energy! without that you can't do a thing, that's a given. I have watched videos on youtube and can hardly point at anything different other than a few new units models for each faction.
ore mining automatic? in the vanilla version you build the refinery and thats it, it doesnt get more automatic than that? even if the collector gets destroyed you build another one at the war factory, and as soon as it comes out it will know to go to were its needed and do its job. how Bmod makes that any different?
sighs...do you need to use 7z to compress the file? I don't like having to install winrar (or 7z) just to decompress files for mods for my games. it made sense 20 years ago when downloading 2 GB could take several hours, that's not the case anymore...on this side of the world at least it isn't. do you have an uncompressed version or basic compression with windows? like a zip file?
rather overrated mod, you have to make it to the near end of the match to see any of the new stuff, and still...nothing worth writing home about. like nothing radically different from vanilla. I accidentally started playing the game without the mod and didnt notice I did so until I took a closer look at the vanilla protocols.
why people bother compressing files today??? it made sense 20 years ago when downloading 1GB would take 16hrs or more!!! we are living in the future right now!!!

like it for the most part. but the flying ball things ruin it for me, and each faction has one of them apparently ,Im having fun with the match and then the AI just put a dozen of those in play and wins. everything else is actually pretty good.
trying the mod, have steam version of SWBF, it seems to work for the most part but hover tanks are spinning crazy all the time why that is? is there a way to fix it?
...if it is only 1.11mb why does it have to be a .rar file? also , i thought it was stand alone? 1.11mb seem rather light, but nvm that, can it be Zip? its kinda annoying to download winrar just for this one mod. if you wont its cool though.
is there an option to download a zip folder and just unpack the mod and play using the executable?

It works and it is as awesome as my nostalgic heart remembers, just be mindful I needed to watch a video on youtube by WhamyKaBlamy titled "Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries (Mekpak 3.1) - Setting up on Windows 10"
he didnt download from moddb but same steps apply, and they worked for me, you pay attention and have patience its worth it.
UPDATE:
got new machine with windows 10 and with an Nvidia GC , and the step described in the video I referenced are no longer enough, I needed to take some extra steps:
go to MEKTEK folder Merc4.exe/Assets/Binaries
and delete or rename Imagehlp.dll.
Run Autoconfig_MERCS.exe as administrator.
Again, all these steps in addition to those described in the video from WhamyKaBlamy, seriously guys a classic definitely worth your time.

okit requires parts1through 4...does it also require the over a dozen patches in the files'section?
I follow the instructions the best I could but nothing is happening, I got the retail version of C&CTW;, some help would be appreciated.
I even created the Mods folder, but it doesnt show at the game browser.
ok made it work, it isnt bad, but it feels awfully unfinished, so it is more like a passing curiosity that I would check no more than once, rather than something would get into.
I thought this was official patch, it isn't, this patch killed my game...
Is there a way to have only the cosmetic aspect of this mod? that's the best part of your mod!!! as for gameplay, I spend like 3 min just planning and upgrading a handful of squads of space marines and then they are all dead in 10 seconds...
it's loadouts...it would actually be pretty cool if it was variants though.
ok maybe Im getting my dictionary wrong but ...these are not variants, these are more like loadouts. a variant would be like the Catapult and the Katapult, the Katapult is a variant that replaces the missile hardpoints for beam weaponry instead, for example. but thats not what these files offer.
the problem I was having was that I have the CD/retail version of dark crusade, and I needed to update, with 1.10 and 1.2, once that was done the mod appeared at the main menu's game manager. hope it helps the mod is worth it.
the mod is impressive, I mean the amount of stuff it has...and still some how it feels like you are only have way Capt_Cole.
love that you made BA a faction of their own and brought in their successors chapters.
when I saw the Firstborn I couldnt help but wonder "if I scroll a little further will I see the DeathKorps of Krieg?" but to my disappointment no, still a promising mod, hope you see this project through to its end...hell for 10 gigs of space I can say I did expect more though.

Have the CD/retail version of Dark Crusade, Installed 1.11 and then 1.2, everything is great, on a side note: it was this patches what I needed to get Titanium Wars mod working properly.
