Thanks for the compliment ElfFriend. Yes, you will feel right at home in Legends of Etherell, if you enjoy the combat mechanics of Skyrim. We're working really hard to accomplish a tactical combat experience, while providing a fast-paced alternative to the current turn-based MMORPG standard.
It's been hard making all of them work in a persistent environment, but so far we've managed to pull all of it off, except for the Dungeon Siege style leveling system. We are working on that now. Very soon, we'll have the ultimate product and launch our first video trailer, so people can see that it's more than just images and ideas, it's a real functional, ground-breaking online role-playing game.
Haha, thanks Garyn. In Legends of Etherell, there are characters that have sexual or voluptuous personalities. Therefore, their personalities will be represented as such. You won't find women women or men walking around half-naked for no apparent reason as you would in some games. Legends of Etherell is all about realism and depth. You don't go out and see half-naked women everywhere you look, but you will find a few in some places.

Yes, Booman, Legends of Etherell will be released on Linux. With each Window release, there will be a Mac and Linux release simultenously. As will all updates to the game.
Thanks Oden ("Allfather"), for your support. We are very excited to be opening doors to the open pre-alpha real soon. Right now, more than anything, we want the involving combat and AI to feel just right before we open things up to the players. We have to make sure our first presentation is the best it could ever be, and that's exactly what we are doing.

Thanks Octrox, he's a placeholder, the new wolf is being designed now. There will be 6 species, so we will have some really diverse pelts. The great things is the player will be able to craft armor and weapons from the pelts, so you will see consistency in your armor and weapons with the textures from the wolves.

The combat is all real-time, much that that found in Tera Online. However, our team is dedicated to making combat real-time and visceral, with lots of strategy. So, we've included counter moves like block, parry, and evade. Some character devotions (classes) have the ability to even use moves to disarmed an attacking player. It will be like no other MMORPG ever released.
Thanks Elffriend. Yes we have horse, tigers, an elk like creature, a rhino/gator type creature, and a two races that can covert to mounts. We also have drakes planned, and will be adding a limited amount of full dragons. We do have rodents as pets, but currently we haven't planned for any large rodents. Carry to elaborate?
A mount is anything that the player can ride to travel around the game world faster.

Yes, the environment plays a major role in the game, as does exploration, so you can expect to see tons of detail and lush locales as you wander about Antavia.

Thanks Audio, one of my biggest inspirations for the game has been was The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind. Therefore, you will see a lot of atmospheric locations throughout the game. Currently we are rebuilding the game works as we have recently left Torque 3D, but we are well on our way to showing off new locations.
The current location is Tentrim, which is more less a predominantly human province, but other locations like Salandia and Nemestia will have really unique styles to present.
Thanks Booman, I tell our Lead Character Artist all the time, I think he's one of the best. He has a real eye for detail and dynamic texturing. There is so much more to come from us.
