I started working on level design with Unreal Tournament 2004 in 2007. I created custom levels for fast paced multiplayer matches using increased movement and physics. I ventured out into custom texturing with characters, modeling, and coding new weapons. I later took two years of Java, I can understand many other languages easily as well now. Though I tried working with many of the design fields, I preferred level design. I currently am currently working to expand my experience and to refine my skills. Though I may be artistic when it comes to level design, I am still very logical, and a strong problem solver. I enjoy working in a team with others, but also am a strong self motivator. Being a student developer can be difficult some times but it really comes down to prioritizing and time management. I am currently woking on Siege of Inaolia, you should give it a look!

So we had another publication today over on IndieBase!

Indiebase.net

This one was more focused on the actual game play an mechanics rather than the team itself though I have heard that there will be a more in depth one some time later...

Anyways, development has been crazy, as you can tell Alpha 2 for Siege of Inaolia has finally come out, which improved AI, movement, new weapons, and some level tweaks. We ended up having a lot of trouble when compiling the newest build, so we ended up stream lining a lot of our process. And I've been slowly working on the snow arena for alpha 3 which should be out in a few weeks.

Along with the snow map for Siege I have to take on designing a level for school as well as all the props and texturing everything. So, time has become a very important and scarce thing. Oh and you know while still trying to balance all my other classes including reading a 600 page book in a week. It's a good thing that I don't get stressed out easily! :D

In my spare time I've been applying for internships for the summer and possibly working a little during spring break. If you know anyone that is looking for a level designer please message me! :D

As always if you follow me, I'll follow you!
Until next time!
