I am very busy at RL, but I've got few spare days recently, so I assembled new patch - The strange diagonal lines is still an issue, I am looking into it but it will take some time

Just double click Drakan.exe in your game directory and you will play original Drakan (with some minor memory tweaks, so it doesn't crash)
The patch is already under work, should be available in January (I originally intended to publish it December 24th, but it will be delayed). And please, ask any questions at Arokhslair.net as I don't get notifications about comments here :)
Please, please, please, send all bug reports to my mail ( Drakan.eu ), I don't get any notifications about comments out here, and it's really easy to miss them out

Okay, you've probably had ATI card - there is bug in ATI driver and I've put a workaround. Launcher should propose autoupdate to fix it :)
Wait few seconds, the game have to allocate a lot of RAM memory during startup and this can take few moments, especially with slow on board RAM :)
Okay, I got report from other player - it's fixed by now (stupid typo in one variable), the game client should update itself automatically :)
Report the bug here: Drakan.eu , please include your hardware specs and any details (such as error messages, etc.)
Will be available on ModDB any second now :) If you don't want to wait, there is dedicated page for download here: Drakan.eu

Strangely, I don't receive notifications of new comments here and it's likely I'll miss some ^^'
No, my best IRL friend, Kronikarz is also working on this, he's really skilled programmer ;-)
Unfortunately no, removing fog without access to original source codes is next to impossible, and I tried to obtain that code in any possible way (mails, snail-mails, etc.) for 2 years before I've ever began working on this mod (side note, that's why it's called 10th Anniversary and not 12nd Anniversary :D )
Hah, thanks :) Drakan is still one of my favorite games of all time and I feel proud I can put my skills to good use on upgrading it ;)
Just two weeks left :D
I think so, but I had to warn in advance if someone dreams of playing on some "wood PC" or something... ;D
Just right there! :D
Just wait for release, it's not over yet and we have still some work ahead of us :)
Yes, it took much, much longer than we'd anticipated. Fortunately the wait is almost over :)
There will be major delay, unfortunately. Kronikarz, my second programmer, is out completely because of his current job and I am facing some RL problems too. Nevertheless the mod is about 75% complete and we'll try to release open beta as quickly as possible (namely I have to solve some bugs in renderer, and I don't know how much time it'll take)
That crash is probably already fixed in beta version, currently we can finish the game on various hardware configurations without single crash :)
Not in first release, but as shader architecture will be open for everyone to contribute, we may get it sooner or later :)
No, unfortunately not - I would need data about what's behind that fog, and Drakan doesn't supply graphics card with this (technically I am intercepting all data send by Drakan to DirectX and known only things Drakan send)
