I'm a Steamworks partner and owner of Obsidian Conflict. I mainly map, model and animate but do a lot of misc. things as well.
I use "FlameOfHeaven" on Steam.
And thanks. :P
That really was long ago. :P The official servers had a lot of admins that weren't part of the development team at that time, you might have been banned for an unjust reason then.
All bans older than a year have been deleted for that reason, so if you ever want to play on the official server again, you should be able to. :)
I doubt this, give me your Steam ID and i'll check.
It's not really dead, there's simply a lack of time.
The biggest problem is that no one has been able to actively work on the code for quite some time now, and with all the updates that happened, like Steampipe, SDK Base 2013 etc, more work piles up, making it more difficult to keep up with the little time we have.
We're still working on it, progress just tends to be stop-and-go. ):
Still plenty of servers~
If it's possible, we'll do it. :)
(which it will hopefully be in the future.)
Made me laugh, thanks. :P
Of course. :P
The recoil animations not working properly is a general bug affecting all weapons, which we still haven't figured out yet.
The ironsights will make use of the new dynamic scope feature. :P
It only heals other players, yes.
Don't worry they're all additional weapons, we're not going to do the mistake of replacing the HL2 weaponry.
Won't need to, we already have our Steamworks access and the next version will infact be on Steam.
Whoop, that means vacation time!
For servers, check Steamcommunity.com
once its fully working.
create a server on oc_lobby, you can start them from there.
Hip accuracy is unchanged.
Recoil and damage is on the todo list, spread can already be changed.
Ironsights can be set up ingame with the ironsight_adjust_* CVARs.
Dynamic scopes can be added to every weapon by modifying the weapon model, and yes, we are planning to add them to all the scoped weapons.
No, they both have their own grenades and the SMG1 will still be the same.
On the todo list as well.
OC was released long before Human Error, so they are completely our work. Plus, our Manhacks actually aren't controllable but instead are deployable, AI-controlled Manhacks on the player's side.
No, OC came out long before Human Error too.
Stronger than ever, expect some news soon.
You install it in Steam's "steamapps\SourceMods" folder (which the installer auto detects for you anyways) and restart steam after.
