To install this patch, you have to extract the content from "Empire_of_the_Shadowtrail_Patch_v5.5.zip" to SpellForce 2: Demons of the Past game directory (where .exe file is).

A LITTLE REMIND: you can easily overwrite (and you should) v5.0 mod files with this patch(v5.5)!

Hello everyone, just a reminder! :)

If you're new to this mod, then just download version 5.0 of this mod, you will find the installation guide by click on 'Read more':

And then apply the patch (v5.5):

If you have an earlier version of this mod installed in your game, then you must delete the old mod's files, otherwise there might be some inconsitencies between the mod's files, because of merging latest and older mod's files.

make sure you correctly named the lua file ("_mapname.lua") and your map folder must have two folders: script and dialog. Read the tutorial carefully for one more time, it should work.

Are you sure you're talking about shadowtrail's mod, there's no Dr.Mauser here anymore :D but I guess you have played my older mods, thanks for playing them anyways ;) And professor Twiddle is gone, the knowledge about the portals is now taken by Askan

This mod is my last for SF2. I've created 4 mods for this game... Now I'm taking a break from modding, because studies are coming... Anyway, when SF3 will be released, maybe then I will start modding again (creating mods for SF3) ;)

All I can do is to post a link(Spell-scripter) made by NeoX, it's a program, which makes scripting easier I believe...

Do you mean a tutorial video, how to make a spawn script or something? If yes, then I don't.

But if you mean a video, which shows how script works, then here it is:

About this mod: I made the same ending as in Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars. You are not returned to the main menu when you kill the main boss, after the last cutscene you can do what you want, search for some enemies, you haven't killed yet in the last map or exit the game by yourself... ;)

Well, this mod has a stronger RTS "side" than RPG (6 completely rts maps), but there are some maps, where you have to play only with your heroes. If you want your heroes to be strong like in SF1, you shuold search for the set-items, who makes your avatar and heroes almost invincible.

I don't know, maybe you should give it a try and make sure whether you like it or not. ;)

No, to play original campaign you will need to uninstall the mod... but it's easy, if you have SF2 Gold (Dragon Storm) the original maps should be packed, so if you will delete this mod maps (.../Spellforce2_directory/base/map/campaign) the original campaign (maps) will automatically work. ;)
