"On paper" this game looks like a great game with quite cool gameplay in the survival genre. But watching the videos, it seems to be waaaay to early in the alpha stage for me to bother yet. I will come back in a year and see where it's at then :)
But yeah, seems like it has potential :)
Oh, and thank you for Linux support :)

I read lot's of positive feedback here in the comments so I thought I'd install the demo. But, no Linux x64 version? Seriously? Or does the x32 also work on x64 Ubuntu?

Ok, so I tried to fix it by uninstalling IcedTea java, and installed newest Sun Java. And now the game doesn't launch at all :S

Hey gys, I'm very interested in this game, so I installed the demo. I know it is supposed to be buggy, but my keyboard doesnt seem to work inside the game at all. In other words: I can't move. I'm stuck with the bed where the woman is bleeding. I guess the game is supposed to be at least playable. I have googled the problem, and also visited the theindistone.com forum in search of the problem, but it seems I'm the only one on the internet who have this problem. Any Ideas? I'm on Ubuntu 12.04. (Yes, the keyboard is working just fine, I'm writing this, aint I?)

Sorry for being noob. But if Savage 2 went live on Desura 20 hours ago... then how can there be comments here that dates all the way back to 2008?

Anyway, I'm glad it's here. If there is a new game like this in development that will also be for Linux, then I will definitely buy it :)

This is called "Modern Graphics"? Looks like it could be rendered by PlayStation 1 ...
