Not sure if April fools or...
But I think its important we recognise Moddb has users of all age groups, including young children. I don't think this sort of graphic material should be displayed here.
Hm, this is a real photo slightly touched up, I'm not sure its suitable for Moddb to be honest. A simple reverse image search gives you the original, its not pretty.
I BET THIS IS BETTER THAN BATTLE WARZ
This is good news, I wish you all the best in the development of Raindrop
If I remember correctly, wasn't there some issues where development of Raindrop went over to the cry engine without the consent of the original developers?
Are the developers of the current Raindrop game the original Raindrop mod developers?
Cheers
Oh wow, this looks lovely, keep it up
Nice to see this isn't totally forgotten. This game was a real gem, so much fun, I would love to see a little popularity brought back to it.

Ah I see, thanks for clearing that up.
Are you still open to new developers?
Normally I would agree about moving to a new engine, but in this case I am not so sure. FoF seems pretty well seated on the Source engine. An engine switch in my opinion would have to be far more than just an asset copying job, I feel FoF would need a new, more defined direction. There are ways FoF can improve as it is, but it would depend on the developers willingness. I'm all for them moving onto a standalone project, that would be fantastic, as long as it was done right. The source engine is terribly dated and I'm really not a fan, yet FoF just seems to sit well on it.
I really think being Greenlit would bring in a lot of new players, I've just no idea how far away FoF is from reaching the 'Green Light' in terms of votes.
One more thing, it says 3.8c has been out since December 8th, what version are you referring to in this post as I see no new downloads or any mention in the forums.
You mention 'This is all for now unless something unexpected happens'. Is this indication that you are coming to a point where you are going to cease development altogether?
Also 'We really need a hand here, or the end for Fistful of Frags could be very near, I'm afraid'. What is actually meant by this? Are player numbers affecting the drive to continue development?
I really feel that development should continue, perhaps make a push for some new team members. You also should plaster the Steam Greenlight banner everywhere, including this post. Getting greenlit will do magical things, you should make every effort to get the word out.
For all the Red Cross know, the developers of this game could be using their organisation name and logo as part of a scam, if no sort of agreement or even notification has been made then they have every right to say what they have. They are not whiny, they are simply protecting themselves and possibly victims of such a scam. I'm not saying 'The Somme' IS a scam, not at all, but for the Red Cross there is no way to tell, they must be very careful and what they have done here is completely understandable. Also one thing you should note, the Red Cross are far from being 'Idiots' - That is a pathetic accusation.
Awesome, was getting worried with the silence
That's an impressive update
I wouldn't consider it dead, there is still a player base albeit small. The benefit of such a bundle like this is that it may increase the number of players.
Sometimes I forget just how beautiful nature sounds
That looks really cool, what is the process for creating new tracks? Is it all done in an external package such as 3ds Max, or does the engine have an editor that can take car of complex roads?
Cheers
Seems like a nice project, I look forward to seeing more
You are my Knights in shining armour, thank you so much for bringing the Eastern Front to FH2.
hnrrrrngg too much awesome
Thank you
"feel free to suggest any special animations we might have missed and we might do them"
As long as the surrender animation makes a comeback I'm happy, a Salute animation would top it off.
Thats a nice goat.
Man with all this awesome content you guys have, you should be working on your own standalone game!
Your determination is certainly something that I admire, and I'm sure many others too.
The outcome of the kickstarter campaign must be a bummer, but hang in there and keep doing what you love.
YOU CAN DOOO EET
