I like it, it really adds a greater story element to the bland stories of the base game.
Awesomeness. This would make an awesome companion backstory. The companion could be one of the last Greyfolk and he is searching for the
King of the Shades. Hold on, Im having a moment. This could unfold into
a major story. After the player conquers Alegaesia the King of the Shades emerges from the shadows and the player has to defend his kingdom against the Shades or go into hiding and basically start the game all over again, but this time facing not the Varden or the Empire, but the Shades. The companion could be one of the companions that alters the story but is not available until late game.
We cannot recruit any more people right now but keep in touch in case we enlarge our team 'limit.'
Hey Pritus I've noticed you seem to be looking forward to our mod (Legend of the Dragon Riders) so if you're interested and have experience with coding scripting or mapping I can ask the 'Big Three' if you can be a part of the team

Very nice! But I do have a few suggestions. I think you should be able to choose what your father had skill with. Although it won't say this in the text, if I remember correctly in the last book Nar Garzvog tells Eragon how an Urgal warrior led an army that wiped out half of Galb's army in the spine. It is a very good back story though and we could DEFINATELY do something useful with it! I also have an idea that during the cutscenes you could maybe take control of the characters instead of just watching.
It gave me the warning that it would not be compatible but it works fine.
Thanks! We haven't really even started major production as far as I know. But we are trying to get started as soon as we can get the whole team together for a chat.
Is there going to be a main storyline quest(s) because if so I would like to at least get an outline done pretty quick.
Now that I look at it that way, I agree. I probably would have named it something else like LOTDR or something if we did that
That taleworlds topic has brought almost nothing but people I'd get in trouble if I described. Should I delete it and make another one to get rid of all those stupid comments?
I've posted it my Taleworlds Forums user is Shaboom15. It is title "Legend of the Dragon Riders."
No mods work on xbox edition
Got a companion for the Empire:
Story: His father was killed in a skirmish with the Varden and he has been looking to get his revenge. His uncle had taught him to shoot a bow and swing a sword.
He has always felt more comfortable with archery however, and he had left his family to join a commander to help him get his revenge on the Varden.
He has skill with tracking and he is quiet and reserved (very few map inturrupts.) He hates everyone that is favorable to the Varden in any way.
He is also uncomfortable around everyone but Dwarves and Humans. If you join the Varden he tries to kill you and you must fight and kill him or he will "escape" and
go back to the taverns.
Equipment: Leather Gloves, Leather Armor, Leather Boots, Hatchet, Long Bow, Barbed Arrows.
Sorry if he's not my best work I threw it together in a hurry.
I think that we should ajust some of the options in character creation to better fit Alegaesian cultures.
It can be played if you just keep going through and clicking 'ok.'
I'm going to start work on some characters that are on the Empire's side. P.S. I didn't know I was th coder but I will do my best with learning how to code...
That would be cool. If for any reason we need another account to make the post contact me and I will happily use my account.
The game seems centered mainly around you joining the Varden and defeating the Empire. I think that it would be neat if you could have an option for your family to die in a way that doesn't invole Galbatorix so it would be less awkard to join the Empire
I might be doing some technology 'camps' and I'll see if that hekps me understand coding. Until then I'm afraid I'll just have to keep trying and come up with some characters.
I have a potential companion in mind:
Name: Aden Sharpsword
Description: He is a great swordsman and is okay with a crossbow. He is not the toughest but is quick and witty. He was once garrisoned at Ura'Baen. He was renowned for his swordsmanship and was respected by his fellow soldiers, thus giving him the name of Sharpsword. But secretly, to all but his family, he was a spy for the Varden. One day he was given away by his own son, and the Empire burned his house and all of his possesions. He has been living in secret every since, finding homage among the Dwarves, the Varden, and the Surdans. He has been looking to join a skilled commander so he could strike back at the Empire and see the Varden victorious.
Other things: If you join the Empire he asks you to let him escape and live in peace. If you agree he disappears from the game and if you refuse you lose 1 honour and have to fight him. If he wins he loots your items and there is a 5% chance you will become a prisoner of the Varden. If you win he becomes your prisoner and the next time you meet galbatorix he will ask you for him (If you haven't already sold him or set him free.) He is very ambitious and cocky, and often attempts offers advice (lots of map inturrupts.) He doesn't care very much about who he travelsith but he is uncomfortable with Elves, Magicians, and the Ra'zac, he says they make him feel uneasy.
Equipment: Leather Warrior Cap, Blue Gambeson, Leather Gloves, Ankle Boots, Arming Sword, Wooden Shield, Crossbow, bolts.
If you don't like him feel free to edit him.
WOOOOO! It's the only single player Star Wars mod and it's ALIVE!
I have no idea how to mod or create characters, but I could make human models in the M&B character creater. Would that be fine? I'm also a decent writer (writing a story now actually.)
