Hey, i was wondering if anyone could help me out with 3ds max 2013 problem i have. The model seems to Auto-Smooth the edges (What i do not need, i want sharp ''square'ish'' edges). You can see here: Imageshack.us . The one in the left it makes when i shape the object, but i need the one that looks like on the right side (I got it when i used extrude). I do not have this kind of problem on max 2010, so i dunno how to fix it (shut down the auto smooth or whatever is causing it). Anyone could help?
Well, i can add stuff like where i think it should fit, since i do not decide if they go as corvettes or frigates or what else lol, i just model (and texture some) ;)

Yea, but volus has different textures and logo on it. Volus one here: Google.ee and Turian: Images.wikia.com
If u want see models, then i am uploading pics of them more regularly on my profile (but there are mixed up with this and my own project, so it is kinda 50/50 chance to see them here lol).
I do not know yet what they plan to do with them, i think Cerberus ones were in game already, but not sure. I just uploaded the Models i have 100% ready so we have a little overlook of what we have and can include.

Well Kodiak vs Fighter is not very good idea lol, Kodiak is slower, has weaker weapons and maneuvers slower. So it would be good as an enemy base/ship capture vessel.
Sure you can send me link. But for the moment i am uploading the ME original ships seen in game and i have ready on my profile, then i will work on custom Cerberus ships, and after that i will see what i will do next. Maybe start making Concept ships, but i am not sure since real life gets real busy in few months.
Yeah different size and some minor changes to the wings section mostly, but hull area is same for all i have seen so far.
Model is by me but base texture friend got for me from game. Just needed to update it and UV map the model to fit the textures. But this is only model on what i use parts of original texture from the game since this is main hero ship and need's to be 100% detailed and best looking possible.
But this model probably will be only in my own project since i think Devy got SR2 already for HW mod.
Do not know the final poly count since i gave it to Devy, he makes final touches etc., but it was over 20k i think for my own project, cause it needed to be as HD as possible.
This took bout 4 days only since i used a reaper model as basis and it was easy to modify it to leviathan (since they are kinda one on one style lol)
Check my profile to see the other ships ready so far, i upload them there.
Oh, and i finally got the Shadow Broker Ship ready, i have been waiting to get it finished for ages :D

Maybe a little bright, but perhaps you could make it go brighter as ship speeds up?
Heh, well i have 100% all soundtracks from the Mass Effect series and in the game they are as 10 separate tracks (aproximately 30 sec to 1.30 min long), at that youtube link they are just been put together to form one track. They are from Mass Effect 2 DLC - Arrival

I usually use the extended Vigil OST at main menu's.
Well, only bad thing is that Nexus is kinda quest/Storyline based and not free play like Homeworld (no skirmish nor many multiplayer persons). Star Trek - Legacy would fit well as base of Mass Effect mod (since space campaign+skirmish mode), or Star Wars: Forces of Corruption (strategy for space+land battle and galactic conquer).
Well there are all sorts of people around the world, but heh, what one - or + changes anyways lol, work will not stop anyways ;)

You were actually able to add the red glow there as well? Sweet :D
Shuttles are kinda same size like Alliance/Cerberus fighters, i have both but not scaled yet, but you can see them here: Moddb.com
Ah right was not thinking about that lol. But it could be a mining shuttle then? The one collecting resources?

Dvergar: it was one of the biggest stations in ME, if this is big wate till ya see Omega xD
it would be better fit to replace the station, where you buy pirate units in vanilla foc

lol more there is the better, like you see a red glow from far and then the reapers come beams blazing and some just stand and glow with lightning effect and look good xD
But that effect can be added kinda like weapons effect, like when weapons charge then the lightning appears on reaper hull. If i remember right, it was like that in ME cutscenes as well, not sure tho.
The lasers look epic. Btw is there chance to make the red ''lightning'' effect on hull as well? Like here: 3.bp.blogspot.com . That would give more effect to the model.
