Who really has time to think about a summary of himself on the internet? I like art, women, gamedesign and I love coffee. Everything else is too much information.
I agree...I didn't do the transition in the most elegant way but I hope it doesn't disrupt interest in the project all too much.
Hello! Thanks a lot, but not yet! I will concider donations once its absolutely 100% certain that the project will succeed. I'm not one who takes peoples money and does not deliver a statisfying project. I really appreciate that you want to donate though! :)
Actually, this looks way too legit for an "into" game. Where is all the cheese? This looks like you guys are now prototyping for a decent "serious" shooter.

Keep in mind that what you have downloaded is an early alpha from where I started this project.
Glad to see you keep it up ;)
If you look under "Profile" there is a contact button. There you can talk ;)
Great to hear! Best luck!
Standalone?? Well, you guys certainly made my day! :)
I wouldnt risk it. The software and its community seems very abscent.
I saw you commenting on the windows in this game on some other screenshots too. Why does this bother you?
I dont think that these emmit too much light either. If you'd be in a dark room all day, I guess this is how you would see them. If you are referring to the brightly lit cleaver: it does not react all that accurately to light as it is a dynamic object. ;)
:) I wasn't able to make cutscenes back when I made this game, otherwise I would have done it!
I also didn't want to make something selfshot or with some picture slideshow...I think the voiceacting I recorded with my camera was already wacky enough for one game :)
It is not just you. It has been my observation that these games have a tendency to randomly crash on some machines but run perfectly fine on another. I never had crashing FPSC games while others with similar settings and operation system have crashes all the time.
I hope that reloaded...the new fpsc...will be more stable.
Its great to hear that you like the game, however, there is nothing I can do to assist with your problem. Sorry!
If you use a "clone brush", you can easily remove these mirroring artifacts visible next to the lightsource ;)
;) Its an old model. I have marmoset now :)
I never asked for this.
The gameplay isnt...it really isnt =/

You have a tendency to make really interesting ceilings here :)
Good work 'n' tracking!
You deserve more views and watchers! ;)
Thank you!! :)
Are you deadset on this being a multiplayer game, only? With your talent and attention to detail, I would love to see a well crafted storycampaign. :)
Hey man! A few more screens and infos might give you more views and interest! So far I dont know if its an other FPSC clusterhump or a decent game. :)
Looks authentic! Good work.
Why? The arctic sabercat in skyrim was actually well made. This one looks more dangerous and ferocious though!
Yes it is! You should be spanked! In a very ...very...kinky way.
August already? Lay off the amphetamines and take your time ;)
Very kind of you to share these with us! :) Its much appreciated!
As I told you on skype :)
:P I try not to... although the full game will have some 4th wall ...bending... dialogue.
Thank you! :)
Yes, it is!
"Into the Dark" is the biggest release with this engine so far. If you are interested in the engine from a technical standpoint it is more advanced than my games. Homegrown and especially Ivan here is a more technical approach where I bank on aesthetics. :)
This looks much better than a lot of AAA Title physics / gravity /telekinetic gameplay I have seen and its still an Alpha version? :)
You guys impress me everytime I show up here.
No its not.
No I didn't :)! I made a lot of the models and effects but a lot is also bought media. However, everything has been reworked and modified to suit the game. This is mostly just a collage of media I made for other projects.
In an advanced engine I wouldn't be able to do much at all. I'm a decent level artist in unreal engine but I doubt the possibilitie of making a game all on your own in your sparetime in a bigger engine. The workload is huge.
The sounds themselves are actually pretty neat. Its just the looping and setting in FPSCreator that cuts them off like this. That can be tweaked, but I didn't for this as its a miniproject.
Thanks for your feedback :)
Looks great so far!! Very athmospheric! :D
A bit rough in the 3D realisation but overall nice designs. Well done!
I look forward to seeing these in motion.
Yes and no! I do try the best I can do... but I only have 3 weeks to work on this little game. You might have red that I ran into problems developing "Dead Frequency" which still prevail. This is just a small game for kicks :)
No, why do you think it would be? :) Its the "ia" in the title, isn't it?
Hey man! Glad to see you around here too! :D
thank you! I appreciate your input :)
Technically they are misplaced. (not only because the light does not shine through the window but also due to the masterlight casting unnatural shadow bits.) For instance: the telescope castes a shadow to the left which it would never do under natural lighting. But hey ;) we work with FPSC... At least it looks somewhat good.
Yes! You understood what kind of flair I'm after :) I don't like bloom either and I think its horribly overdone in a ton of games but this game is supposed to be overdone. If I would have full control over the effects, it would have filmscratches, constant flickering and maybe even slight lightrays. The bloom however is adaptive. If you focus on a lightsource, it seizes a bit :)
:) Yes it is! Glad you like it :)
Wicked! I like it :)
"the only one" is incorrect but "one of the very few" that use FPSC the right way? certainly. Can't wait to get my hands on it folks!
Ah yes! The glow, the cold wet walls, ...this has a lot of athmosphere to it.
I agree...it IS amazing work but I do find the fantasy rabbit and blood/gore combination with all the violence a bit out of place aswell.
I love how your combat system is already more advanced than in ANY major studio game! :)
there is a system shock 3?
I take that one, FPSC X10 turned out to be less powerful than X9 and less supported by the community so the support from TGC has been dropped.
Bullpup Weapons? YEAH!!
I though it would be "Digman" ...as "mineworker" but "War" is much cooler :P However. Already pretty nice! Keep it up. This is wolf from TGC board.
Aww! Is someone mad because I gave him an honest review on the worst mod since videogame history? Well..nice try, but this is just a patch, not the actual game XD
"We are currently searching-
Sound Editor " Really? Come on!
How about getting real, practicing and coming back with something actually good?
Yes, me too :) But unfortunately I lost a lot of Gamers due to the constant whispering/breathing sounds, the nonstop monsterattacks and all the corpses that where everywhere. The newer version shall have a lot more adventure and survival elements, along with more realism. (I won't confront the player with floating hallways and irregular architecture until the storyline is revealed. It is cleary planned to have a realistic and a completely insane part. We'll see how that turns out :)
Epic Model! :D The details are stunning. It looks definately real.
Damn! I wish I could reach this visual quality! :)
Looks awesome and original :)
:D Weapontweaking is the funniest part in firstpersonshooter development, me thinks :)
Hey, sorry for the late reply. Did you try running as an Administrator?
If you have service pack 1 installed, the game will not run. I do not yet know why, but the engine crashes on most Win7 Service Pack 1 Versions.
Thank you! :) What game is that Mod for? Would like to play it ;)
try to delete the "imageblock.bin" in you're installation folder.
Wow! What an awesome game idea and great first pictures!
Thank you :D
Jupp! Its Wolf
Simply awesome! Nice to see the game here :)
Btw, I'm Wolf from the TGC Board.
Is that hoverbike animated? Looking good otherwise!
jupp! I've seen it in editor.
This looks fantastic!
The Screenshot and the description don't really show anything. Maybe you should work a few hours on a project BEFORE you release it.
Also: Creating a Multiplayer Game with FPSCreator is nearly impossible. I'm usually not with people that flame the engine...but when it comes to multiplayer, they are all right.
This game doesn't show anything made by you. All I see is models you bought and ranomdly placed entities in your level.
Thanks ;) And there is only one guy working on this :D
What are your systemspecs?
Ever fired a G3? it doesn' t suck at all ;) Yeah... G36 are way more modernised and look better...but the G3 ist still an awesome weapon. Even though its way too large.
In 1965? I don`t think so ^.^ Its not the same model. Its inspired by the tank char, yes.
Thanks! I try my best ;)
FPSC Engine doesn ´t look like source. Its just that canalyst has a kinda source/half like`ish leveldesign. But that's not a bad thing.
