in a comment below somebody links to an update given the other day. and also apparently they released it to a select few forum members, and someone managed to get some screen-shots of it i just found http://csnation.totalgamingnetwork.com/showthread.php?182034-Is-Black-Mesa-Source-Released-
The opening scene with the company logo freezes the game for me on Windows 7 64 bit. I just had to hit escape before it freezes to skip it, just wanted to let you know though.
Source doesn't require insane system requirements. The minimum amount of RAM recommended for the UDK is 8GB. If that wasn't the case and it ran faster on my machine, I would definitely use it :)
P.S. The UDK takes about 10 minutes to start on my machine!
well technically a "primordial soup" came first lol.

amazing work, will watch closely :)
i have both a PC and an xbox console. why not, the more game tech the better right :)
it was my virus protection, it had to be disabled.
The latest build (build 2572) won't start-up in Window 7 SP1 64bit, it just sits there on the splash screen. Will post this in the forums to.
if you made a single player like Oblivion (an RPG), that would be awesome.
god forbid anyone makes any money right? it's not like they worked hard on it or anything.

This reminds me of the Fifth Element a lot.
yes a great movie indeed, it's on Netflix instant play to. and this game has to be inspired by it, it's even spelled the same.
It means "Parallax occlusion mapping", check out more info here En.wikipedia.org

so are you actually flying these planes with realistic aerodynamics like a flight simulator, or just making it look like it for now?
Everything looks like Silent Hill.
I don't get it, I was saying that it definitely is not vaporware, sooo...
You fool, look at all the content they have posted. They would have nothing if it was vaporware.
I should be able to use your UE3 tutorials for the UDK right?
No, keep it as it is, but also offer a jet pack game play mode.
who the hell sponsors a trash can?

That's okay though. If you can create concept art quicker while still getting the point across, why not?
Aw hell, I love em all.
