So - I've had in the works a video game project which I haven't really been able to get going until recently. In all honesty, I'm not quite sure why I haven't been able to until now.. never the less, it's definitely coming along nicely. Slow - maybe - but it'll be done when it's done; it's what everyone expects anyways, haha

I'm still getting together an alpha document and assembling what information I want to post when I come to create the games' page on ModDB. Soon, I'm going to be sketching up design docs of game elements (at least, all the non-bio pieces, lol) and prepping for rendering thereafter.

I've never been very confident when it comes to sharing my work because I find it stressing to imagine anything stolen or reused, etc. That, and I don't deal with rejection well; especially from all the other nonsense input from those who are not-so-savvy with their lack in comprehension of positive feedback. People just fucking suck and like to be right, especially when it comes to things they enjoy.. but, that's life, and I move on :)

My philosophy of video games - among the rut of repetitious, cookie-cutter remake after remake and their negative or otherwise generally bland or niche popularity - is that there is no such thing as "too much"; there is no such thing as "this genre is over-done," to me. What I believe is they simply have not been done right. That, or they've been done very well once, but never again (at least, according to those who were so awestruck by the initial iteration). I intend to change that.

If people want to ridicule or judge how much fun it will be or not, simply based on it's genre and setting, then so be it - ignore the haters, amirite? Because I know: More people will enjoy it. I don't intend to do anything less than try to completely satisfy.

I won't settle for anything less.

Stay tuned in the coming months!
