Sry Mooner to spam u with comments... but I got another question to mods.
After my first try failed I tried yesterday again to mod and I think I'm slowly understanding what to do. But my important question is: In the objects/weapons/pulse_rifle folder are 6 Files and I dont know wich to take for editing the skin...
I have:
- Id_pulse_rifle_ammo_counter (wich seems to be the numbers of ammocounter)

- pulse_rifle_1024 (seems to be something, but it's too withe so Idk..)

- pulse_rifle_alpha_1024 ( with wich I get error when I try to put in Paint.net)

- pulse_rifle_norm_1024 ( seems to be shadows or something )

- pulselow_diffuse ( maybe cuz it's pretty grey )

- pulselow_norm ( looks like pluse_rifle_norm_1024 really grey.. )

I think it could be one of the really grey ones.. but I'm not sure, please reply :)

Hey Mooner, I got another question. Mainly cuz I guess you do mods longer than the most here. So: would it be possible to make own maps, own guns and own patches ?
I'm really ****** off that Rebillion doesnt support AvP and the last patch is allready 2 years ago. Could we, the guys that play avp, do our own patches ?

Ok.. I'm trying now and my first Problem is: when I put a textureimage of a skin into GIMP or Paint.net I get a picture that's black'n withe checkered.... what's wrong?

Because I dont know how to do :)

Take a screenshot of the normal Heatvision in AvP. Then open the image and make a negative-version of it - Vision. It's extremly redish.

I just tested how the heatvisioin looks like in negative and it's pretty cool. Could you once make a skin like that?

Why are there 2 files? something else with the mod about the skin?

That's waaaaaaay cooler than all those blue, blue with bit green ,,****'' visions.... Orange is awesome for that, just the blue and green doesnt sticks too good with it in my opinion.

What about snakescales or something like glowing lava?

This looks like an usefull one, bight and does the job, got to test that.

I would be souuu happy when I could get a RedTiger-Pulserifle.
I dont know how good you are with modding weapons, but I allready saw a modded Sniperrifle with a camo on it.
