btw kevlar, thats not even a retex, its just the normal weapon and also a good start to use when you are working on scripting weapons as it is already there and ready to use.

you missed something, what he is saying is that the evolution of the creatures in the game will be similar to a turn based system, like he says the frog is chosen randomly by the game to evolve the frog then evolves to a poison frog, then the snake that normally feeds of that frog has a higher chance of evolving to adapt its new situation Eg, evolving to eat new prey or growing a resistance to that poison so he can keep eating the frog.
As far as i know the gameplay itself is not turn based
i was asking people to give me there opinion on weather i should do the weapon customization like the way its done in crysis 2 like on the fly put scope on shoot someone take it off and close quarters another person, or have it done in a menu at the start or end of the mission and if you choose a scope you are stuck with it till you reach another weapons vender.

I didnt want to smooth it because blenders smooth function does not look all that good so i didnt want to do it, and these edges are smoothed in game aswell so no need to worry, purely for the render

yes we are still working on it, its just going slow due to lack of help still, but i am happy to say we have some dedicated people that have to stay and continue helping :), we still need allot of help though so if you know anyone send them this way :)
its going to be the first mission map a small city where you are sent down to investigate a team that stopped responding, its an introduction level introducing you to features of the game and your purpose as a soldier.
nevermind figured it out anyway, surprisingly easy now coding the weapon afterward not so easy
not really, having problems getting the enemies soldiers into the game due to the fact i have no idea how to rig characters for UDK im going to ask geodave for help with that, still looking for people to help with the game.
If things go well we can have one packaged for testing soon (just against bots though)

it just looks like its had a lot of subdivision? giving you the problem with the rounding off at the tip of the gun and well pretty much everywhere else. Im not flaming im just saying as a weapon modeler myself, it would be a good model if it wast for the multires/subdivision
