Yes there was allot of things going on i lost my sight for the game for a bit then after a personal holiday we got back into the game at square one but know i'm back on track and i apologize to all my watchers.

im not sure your description sells it very well, i was interested when i saw spirits and demons but being shut in afraid to leave the home doesnt sound very fun? maybe more detail will get people more interested, good luck :)
but doesnt that defeat the whole space being 0 gravity? and not 5 gravity? lol and where does that gravity in space come from? seeing as on planets the gravity comes from our mass and the fact we are spinning creates a gravitational field right? the same way as we are caught in the suns gravitational field and circle the sun, so for the space that our galaxy is in to have gravity it would need to be orbiting something well really huge wouldnt it? but if we are in the suns gravitational field there has to be an amount of gravity in space but maybe you have to be a certain amount of mass to be affected by it? so since im not getting anywhere im going to have to say there would have to be gravity in space but space itself isnt affected by gravity but the objects in space are? and why do people call space zero gravity then?

detail? it is hard to do with a mouse though so i suggest investing in a bamboo sketching pad (or whatever they sell where you are) i just got one so i can do concepts and they ar really handy

btw kevlar, thats not even a retex, its just the normal weapon and also a good start to use when you are working on scripting weapons as it is already there and ready to use.
i was asking people to give me there opinion on weather i should do the weapon customization like the way its done in crysis 2 like on the fly put scope on shoot someone take it off and close quarters another person, or have it done in a menu at the start or end of the mission and if you choose a scope you are stuck with it till you reach another weapons vender.

it just looks like its had a lot of subdivision? giving you the problem with the rounding off at the tip of the gun and well pretty much everywhere else. Im not flaming im just saying as a weapon modeler myself, it would be a good model if it wast for the multires/subdivision

It is a variant of the original AK-75 in the game that is an automatic rifle yes. the AK-74P (this gun) is the semi automatic side arm designed to be used with the rifle.
yea it would be cool if the ground was all chaos like, the buildings were fully accessible and yo could run between them shooting it out in the halls or on the chaos planes lol.

On the render i used more that one light source one above the gun one on the left and one on the right all at different intensities, or you can just use ambient occlusion.

wats on the right hand side of the screen is easy as sleeping compared to udk ( i was going to use udk for my game but i couldnt even find a good tutorial on how to get weapons from blender to udk (as an actual weapon not a prop) so i decided to watch a few blender tuts an download some free blender games to see how they used the programming ( on the right) and its rather easy)

not a mod, and the reason the weapons are being done first is because i am a weapon modeller and this game is my idea so ill get what im best at out of the ways first so i do not need to worry abaout it later on as we will already have everything made, my frinds are also working on prop models and udk scripting, but i cant do any of that atm due to my slow pc not being able to handle it ( but i will get my knew one in about 2 weeks) the oly reason this game would die is if i ran out of helpers.

good eyes, the only reason so high is the person is rather high poly, but my pc is crap ( AMD athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 4800+ 2.50 ghz (good ram tho 4 gig) 32 bit OS, Radeon X1650 graphics) so rather low and im having no problems, that is quads tho so i will dull it down a bit ( question here whats wrong with using quads in UDK im not having any problems????)

2 spare clips, they are exactly the same size as they are a duplicate of the original ( the clip goes inside the gun a bit) and the rear is a bit closer to the camera.

it is a flat gun but not so flat its just weird, the idea in my head was so when u had it on ur back it wasnt bolky and sticking out, and maybe fit another gun on top. but i do get wat u mean it does look very flat in this pic, more so than wat it is.

noooo dude! i use blender its all i have ever used and i taught myself hoe to use it but my point is u cant pass up the opertunity to try it out, sure it took a bit to learn, but once u learn u fly around that blender screen and as a blender user i highly recomend it. wait u already have it, but i shall help, after u create an object click on it and press TAB to edit the object( press tab again to fix it), in edit mode u can press E to extend to object ( or extrude as its called) i sugest tutorials off youtube, and add the image of wat u want to make on blender bacground. all in tutorials on youtube if u search hope i have helped and dont give up dude

i just checked out that car and in the picture i saw was exactly the same as this model, the nose isnt fat it looks to me that is due to the angle of the camera, the only thing different in my picture is the camera an fuel cap have swapped sides, red bolts instead of yellow and the antenna is rubber coated (but honestly who cares? it looks awsome)

you missed something, what he is saying is that the evolution of the creatures in the game will be similar to a turn based system, like he says the frog is chosen randomly by the game to evolve the frog then evolves to a poison frog, then the snake that normally feeds of that frog has a higher chance of evolving to adapt its new situation Eg, evolving to eat new prey or growing a resistance to that poison so he can keep eating the frog.
As far as i know the gameplay itself is not turn based

I didnt want to smooth it because blenders smooth function does not look all that good so i didnt want to do it, and these edges are smoothed in game aswell so no need to worry, purely for the render

nevermind figured it out anyway, surprisingly easy now coding the weapon afterward not so easy
not really, having problems getting the enemies soldiers into the game due to the fact i have no idea how to rig characters for UDK im going to ask geodave for help with that, still looking for people to help with the game.

i have to say i like the idea and i like the look, but perhaps something that more resembles the feel of the game, like for example the stalker inventory screen fits in really well with the game. this i dont get the same feeling i get from you game description and artwork.
but apart from the feel,its a great looking system simple and wont confuse newcomers :)

Thats the clay render, and no its not in constant view, not in view at all really but at the time i made this bike blender didnt have the ability to reduce polys in a cylinder (now it does) and i didnt have the patience to do it manually ( the overall polys could be dropped to about 10,000 maybe if i went over it and fixed those non optimized parts )

yes blender, um the original non sculpted one is around 17,000.
this one is around 140,000 it wasnt made for anything just for fun so i didnt try keep polys down, you actually cant see most of the detail in this because of the crappy lighting
