i tried tangent but i couldn't get it to work properly, i kept getting a completely flat bump map or it would create a bump map of both the high and low poly model and you could imagine a map that's highlighting the low poly bumps :/

i dont understand this concept, or most of them for that matter
they are mainly based on modern weapons just using a bit of imagination and varying it up a bit so we aren't using the same guns in every game we play,
In that case you can send me whatever ones you would like to share with us and ill see if i can fix the polys to a more suitable level ( if you dont want to thats fine )

about 6000 and i can use them straight away, but they can be up to 12000 max and i can maybe optimise them a little

i was reading a mag about how us pc uses are help back by consoles cos they making games for consoles that are now 6 years old

Thanks, it hasnt been updated in a while because i wanted to wait untill we have some decent things to show ( and decent things are hard to make if you dont have a coder haha ) anyway should be some good things to come and the release of our website soon as well with forums so people can chat with the developers of the game ( including me ) on there about the game and things they would like to see.

Thats the clay render, and no its not in constant view, not in view at all really but at the time i made this bike blender didnt have the ability to reduce polys in a cylinder (now it does) and i didnt have the patience to do it manually ( the overall polys could be dropped to about 10,000 maybe if i went over it and fixed those non optimized parts )
ill put the wire up but i warn you this was made a while ago when i didnt even know geometry and was not trying to keep the poly count low

make me think of those gametypes in ut3 where there is that super vehicle that spawns for whoever controlled that node, just a thought like replace it with a baneblade or something?, anyway was just thinking about terminators, space marine and chaos as a vehicle similar set up to the walker we did i would think, just smaller. anyway awesome job Geo downloading when my cap gets reset
you mean high poly over top a low poly? bump mapping?
i would do that if i knew how to unwrap but i dont so im stuck with normal for the moment
