lol.
Not necessarily. You shouldn't have to change any graphical settings to get it to run.
I found one too. I'm assuming it doesn't replace the regular F2000 because the model is different.
Yeah I don't think you can mod it that way, which really is a shame.
A-Life stuff is really good to hear, I hate vanilla Clear Sky's A-Life system. All they ever seem to be doing is running between strategic points.
Good stuff N. My only suggestions for the next patch are:
1. remove that annoying buzzing sound, or fix it so it doesn't rumble. immersion killer.
2. randomize the traders' inventories, at least slightly. they always sell the same stuff which is weird.
3. isn't the VSK supposed to be silenced? it's loud as hell
If you don't like wearing a mask, maybe you should just not wear one, stalker.
If you have the unpacked data files you can just grab the old knife sound and replace it.

Loving it so far, N. I won't lie, I modded it a bit to my taste, but isn't that the beauty of the x ray engine?
Because it's a BETA and is therefore not representative of the final product.
Stalker mods of this size are never compatible, you have to choose just one.
Thanks N. The equipment clatter is actually scripted, based on player movement. It is independent of the footstep sounds, which makes it easier for me to manage and more dynamic sounding.
No, modding Stalker is a much simpler affair than that.
