I work in telecommuncations by day and make games by night. Currently polishing up the Mayan Mystery game and putting together some content for it on the site.

Well, it has taken me about four years to get to this point, but the Adventure Apes is getting REALLY close to being finished!
Right now, I am in the touch-up stages for the final boss fight(s); tweaking the difficulty and actions here and there. With the final boss, I find myself dying between 3 and 10 times, so it's still a little tough, but everything is in place, and am very happy with how it's turned out.
The original plan was to have the game finish much the same way as it begins, with an illustrated poem. Not only is that really time consuming, but it is kind of anti-climactic as well, since you're just sitting there, unable to interact with anything. I had the idea recently to include a final chase scene instead, so you'll be hot on the heels of Horatio Hawk right to the very end, it's just unfortunate that I was well into the original poem/drawings when the thought occurred! Ah well.
At any rate, the only things remaining are the randomly created rooms for the chase, as well as the very last room, where a final bit of dialogue takes place. If all goes smoothly, my game will (FINALLY) be ready to go end of July/early August. It's been a long time since I put together any videos, so that is something I'll be doing soon, just to go over and wrap up the different levels and such.
It's kind of nice to see the light :)
