The B-1B Lancer. An American long-range bomber. Very big. Plenty of engine power so it's very fast. Also the bloody loudest thing I've ever heard.
So damn loud! Flying at low level...it'll break your ears without hearing protection.
Um, Scarecrow, I heard it WITHOUT hearing protection, and I still have my hearing....AIR AFRICA, how I miss you.
How close were you?
I was standing about 20m from the runway when it took off. I could feel the heat from the engines.
