You remember the photo of the giant pencil, I mean the big honking laser? Moddb.com

Well they are going to fire those 192 lasers at this. Not the cylinder, look harder, they are aiming for that little red bead. The beryllium sphere is going to hold radioactive hydrogen isotopes, deuterium and tritium to try to initiate fusion.

As I said, overkill.
