From what I understand, some of the features used are not compatible with jfDuke engine. You will probably need to use eDuke instead, which can be done by just copying the Duke3d.grp from megaton into the eduke folder. (I'm not going to hold your hand with the process)

Indeed, anything sword fighting would be great. It can even just be a tech demo and I'd be set. ha ha

I don't know if this has been said before but wouldn't it be great if you can duplicate the emmersive experience of 'Company of Heroes'.

Anyways, like whats happening here, hope to see more progress, especially some ingame screens.

If you ever need publicity for your project, let me know, I down an Indi Game Company, and we can help you get a nice site, hosting, and publicity. This is a choice you can't kidding, but make sure to keep this in mind. ;)

First of all $10 is worth paying for a game such as Gmod, there are many bargain bin games that just plain suck! Also, just like what grudgE has said, you don't have to buy the next version, you can forever player the older version, FREE!

Great if this actually happend then the only thing I would like to say is "Did I see that map somewhere before?". People will use it and will turn mods into medicre mods that has content from a free resource website. BORING! I prefer to see people make there own stuff vs. seeing the same ol' thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND...

Too bad that all the devs that ordered a Dev Kit have to wait it out through all the orders purchased by consumers....seriously if you want to get an Oculus Rift, wait for the Consumer edition.

Its the UE3 engine, not UT3. The UT3 engine is REALLY old. Not to mention, this is Killing Floor, which uses an older UE3 engine. UE3 is just a name without the version number.

Was it really a great idea to fill your teaser/trailer with glitches? Looks great, but it was tainted by flashing models, clipping, and some very bad cuts.

EDIT: and I forgot to track. :D TRACKING!

Two questions. Any idea of when Part 1 of V2 is out? Also is there any plans to offer an option to rid the game of the visual widescreen black bars? Its cool when you have an old monitor but it jars the game for those with widescreen. It just makes it claustrophobic. Great production values btw. I'm going to hold off on playing it until V2 is out. Pretty sure you are putting your blood sweat and tears into it.

What do you guys mean on a tilt? That tilt is just a rotation in after effects and not in-game. I could be wrong though, but I doubt it.

Anyways, I think i'll stay away from another scary game until I start feeling less sick. lol Looks pretty awesome. Thought it would of been a FP Adventure version of the film. :P

How do you know he's not holding with both hands? Proper hand positioning is primary hand on handle and secondary with palm flush and firmly on the floor of the handle, which you can't see in the pic.

Thanks for this mod. It was an absolute pleasure to play. It was great to see the use of various archetypal characteristics used in many great mediums. A mix of various horror techniques and a bit of 'oh hell no' moments similar to the game Amnesia. You really nailed the atmosphere on the head. Had a bit of a feeling of 'the Thing'. I can't really say I had a problem with the mod. Very reminiscent of the hardcore game designs popularly seen in the 90's. I appreciate that and the lack of hand holding. I look forward to seeing what you guys offer in the next project!
