frankly the mod sounds kick ***
but then my mind trails over to morrowind: oblivion
something tells me it ain't happening right now, HEY DOES ANYONE KNOW NECROMANCY? because the mod has been left for a long time, maybe they somehow forgot all about it? nah!
hopefully the mod will start back up any week or month now...
as long as hotdogs are made out of meat!
so do i as i too crawl over the various games, sites and books etc
well it's original i'll give you that
i guess people will just have to go to rpgplanet.com then to get it
the mod is sweet as dude
yea i noticed that too, kinda puts off if you choose nurgle and expect a writhing mass of boils and flies and instead you get 1 blood thirster of khorne though
either way the tau mod should just be there to quench people's need for being an alien in a suit of black armour... until the expansion comes by storm and then this mod will become a shining beacon on display as one of the best 40k mod ever and be remembered for the hours upon hours of joy it wrought
in it's simplest form: one step (or rather 3) closer to a finished piece of treasure
now, now don't rule the expansion out just yet and besides THIS MOD IS SOMTHING TO WET THE THIRST FOR NECRON ACTION UNTIL THE EXPANSION IS OUT SINCE PEOPLE REGARD THIS BEAUTI AS REDUNDANT WHICH AIN'T TRUE
jeez this kind of fanatism is sooner or later gonna rub the wrong way on people we should stop and be good boys and girls and wait for a final verdict...
the mod still haunts this morbid graveyard even after years of ignorance, the site admins let this mod stay as a grim trophy
nuff said to that
this mod is chugging on nicely, shouldn't take longer than 2007
overall this mod should be really neat when (or if, but lets not talk about that eh?, lets forget i said that) it's done
well this mod would really tie the dow series together well
if you can't wait any longer than not only are you most definatly not alone but that means that the mod is doing it's job: exciting gamers
i can't stress enough that a mod a rushed mod isn't a healthy proposition, now a slowly cooked mod ensures more flavor and it will practicly melt in your mouth which is what we want right?
the sounds and models for the tyranids (apart from the genestealer and rippers) will take some getting used to so be faithful and be rewarded handsomly when the time comes...
you do realise that people may think about flaming you for that? not me in particular because most of my time is devoted to the second dawn of war expansion: dark crusade
the tyranid mod is shaping up really well
the total war mods aren't that bad
people  halo and halo mods
and so but you are entitled to your opinion i guess
but now something terible has happened... I WATCHED THE FRIGGIN TRAILER FOR DOW 40000: DARK CRUSADE AND NOW ME WANT NECRONS BAAAAAAAD!
i really couldn't care less if the models aren't finished or have something elses sounds etc, must have what has been left of this necron mod so i can enjoy destruction with the arch nemisises of the galaxy... *deep breathes*
but then came a miricle in disguise (depends on how you look at it) called generals and then it's expansion but right now the new dreadnought of EA is C&C 3: tiberium war with it's revolutionized graphics and new stuff etc
the untold carnage that we will be able to make on this mod will be high quality indeed
wow you are all really gunning for a taste of the action... but i can harldy blame anyone for that because i'm going hyper just thinking what i can expect from this cruiser full of barrels which are filled with action and adrenaline
very well put roller
if anyone don't like the current tyranid mod version, those people will just have to wait until the mod is perfected and thats all i need to say other than the fact that the mod is simmering nicley in the cauldron of mod creation but it is not done... yet
i have been thinking about how the tyranid buildings generate resources and well i think some buidlings could do with a boost of 5+ to each buildings earnings since the 'nids are a little slow to start off with when there isn't a lot of build space to start with and you are getting punished by insane difficulty enemies
wtf? the one time i decide to come back to this... mod, someone likes em?
seriously do you think that banners with a colt a beretta or a glock belong the 41st millenia!?
plus you could probably make better banners that look more 40k even if you had no skills, there is a thing called a template
it is likely that (as said before) work is still being carried out but very slowly and CLR has his/her own problems to take care of and with the second expansion dawn of war 40k: dark crusade coming with necrons and tau the tau mod and this necron mod are more or less just for fun putting in what the mod makers would like to see in a mod, welding virtual bits and bobs together for the entertainment of all who wish to be entertained by people with skill
i was thriled to see a necron mod on this site but now it has being pushed out of the way by a full scale expansion being deveolped by a fellowship of corporations
maybe the mod will at the last minute start up again before it is given a ceremonial burial and then it can be stored in a proverbial cryo capsule for future generations
i once had that problem with the mouse cursor as well before PR, it is either dodgy software or faulty hardware but i can't say i'm certain as it can be caused by several things but so you know it isn't the mod
ahh slow and steady wins the mod race since you may (or not) know how a rushed mod can turn out...
a good way of predicting when a mod is gonna have a next release is to simpily sit there for a long stretch of time like a week or a month blankly looking at the screen or until the next release has been released
it's a knawing feel isn't it, i find the best type of cure for mod death syndrome is to go inside your mind and attack it with a nuclear cow launcher or something else that only a warped mind could create
