Continued

To not play it just because it doesn't support mods, or because it forces you to be on the internet; I find that sad as this will probably be a great game. I've bought crappier games at the same price, and if the game is as good as it looks, then I will love it. But to deprive yourself of a potential great game, due to the features that they put into their game, is dumb.
You probably all have bought an unmoddable game once, and loved it.

Yes, you can't mod it, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.
(unless you have no internet.)

Now the forcing of online play: personally I don't mind, but I can understand people that can get upset over this, but hey, it might be worth it to just live through the constant internet requirement.

For those who want to pirate it just to make them mad, because you think they are money hungry, you make me laugh. Yes the money lovers at the top add certain features to the game to make more money. But, the people who actually MAKE the game are more than likely gamers like you and me, and if not, then they are probably amazing artists or something. So the EFFORTS of the ACTUAL creators WILL be portrayed in the ACTUAL game. And I can trust that Blizzard will make a great game.
And if you doubt that, then wait for Reviews of the game from ACTUAL players, and not from some bull**** website that automatically gives big titles perfect scores.

But do what you want, you are the internet.

(Seriously, some of you guys need to grow up, to commit a crime over a damn game is ridiculous.)

I know that the news that the game will not support mods sucks, also the auction house sounds pretty greedy, and the always online thing does disappoint me. The no LAN thing is no big deal to me, but I know it will make my friends mad. But if you don't play this because of these setbacks, then you might be missing out. (Unless its a piece of ****)

Though, if you just played D2 for the mods then I guess don't buy it. (also if you don't have internet.)

I have played the **** out of the first two, and loved the base experience. After awhile, I just got sick of it, so I played a couple mods. The mods were great, but for some reason it always made me want to just play vanilla Dialblo. Modding is big and great for Diablo, but the original gameplay is awesome too. A brand new Diablo is welcome to me.

Now the new Diablo is boasting features that are VERY different to the other two, but I trust the ACTUAL game developers to make it great.
