Something tells me even if it could take out a planet, they'd fire within the atmosphere anyways.

You could still make it a one-shot cap killer but decrease its speed/maneuverability and its regular amount of weaponry (on account of siphoning all the extra power for the laser).

That way it is basically a cheaper alternative to a SSD (but still expensive cuz superlaser) but it requires protection to keep it alive. That's a good niche for it right?

Couldn't see the dorsal hangar at first, it kind of blended in with the rest of the ship.

When you created this new design and omitted to dorsal hangar did you imagine the side hangars as one large room running the width of the ship or two separate ones?

Just wondering because looking at Fractalsponge's I always imagined it was one massive room. When looking at this one the design seems to be two hangars separated by some pretty heavy armor although they are still on the same deck so I have no idea.

I love how a ship's internals are never adequately described so we all have to make stuff up. That's half the fun though isn't it?

No matter what it is an amazing model.

The problem with limitations is, if I remember right, the ai ignores most limitations and spams the most ships it can. So even if it is more expensive, the price/build time change only really applies to you.

Problem, I first want to make it clear this is not with the mod itself. Ever since I updated Sins all cap ships no matter who I play as cost nothing but the command points. I forgot this caused me to stop playing sins since it is kind of game breaking. Does anyone have a fix?

Nevermind I tested it, random events work fine but the special places (ice fields, antimatter fountains, black holes etc.) don't seem to load in, shame because I really wanted a screenshot of a ISD fighting something with that black hole in the background.

I had this problem, make sure both the swfoc in the game's folder and the application on the disc are running on compatibility for windows xp sp2. It supposedly works on later version but that's what I used to run the game on so I know it works
