Insofar the 1.8 release is awesome but there are some weird issues I noticed, 1)Full veteran Sentinel sometimes will automatically use its main cannon toward a hostile helicopter unit. The Sentinel have missile packs and was ordered to move with no ground targets near. The Sentinel firing its main cannon at air units surprised me though it seems that the attack does not cause any damage. 2)ECA's Bulldog turret won't fire when it's inside ECA's medical bunker healing field. Additionally I noticed that when I'm having around six Hard AI opponents, path finding seems to break down for me. Might be related to my comp speed of 1.4 GHz (4 GB RAM) though...played on default Zero Hour graphics settings and lowered particle count considerably.
Rover is indeed in the latest Mayhem Beta 6. Peacemaker prolly uses a specific weapon designed for it,so it's not a good idea to change its weapon,unless you know what you're doing.

I'm not a modder,though,i'm just a naive fail modeler that helped gamma to make some of Mayhem's models.So i wonder where my opinion lies,maybe somewhere out there. :)

Texture of the terrain depends on the map,there are good textured maps and there are excellent textured maps. Starcraft is too hard to mod compared to modding TA which is far more simpler and easier,spawning some good mods like Mayhem. Note that TA units uses actual 3d object models,not graphical sprites as used in Starcraft. So there is a clear difference of what needed to be done between modding TA and Starcraft.
Alot more things can be improved before next release...so stay tuned i guess.

Mission is currently unsupported in 4.0. So,installing Battle Tactics might do nothing. Battle Tactics expansion only add a new set of missions and nothing much.
TA Escalation already have a custom menu and custom new GUI for Arm and Core. Try the latest version to see it. :P

Self taught typing. After typing a few *not so long* a few pages of stories and stuffs, my typing speed increased compared to the first time i started to type. Pump up a rapid pace music and i can type a one page of story under 5 mins if i have the idea what to write in the first place tho. Now, i dont need to see my keyboard much to type atm. =D

The thesis is actually circa 1 year old written if im not mistaken. Took me several researches to be done, and i do actually refer to viable sources, such as physics book, wikipedia and numerous others to write the fictional thesis. This is written in a style, such that the weapon actually exists in real life. Well...do to some complication, we won't see an actual lightning weapon as in TA tho, in real life. :P
Took me three days to write it previously...and now maybe will write more on TA-related stuff if i can think clearly about them, that is. XD

Total Annihilation is better than Supreme Commander. Powerful graphics does not translate to the game sustainability. Look at Total Annihilation, 12 years out of publishment, but still kicking strong in modding, after 12 years it's company stopped the release of the game officially. Without Total Annihilation, there would be almost no Supreme Commander or other enhanced features *found* on other RTSes that Total Annihilation firstly pioneered. What stuff? Unlimited build queues, and order queues etc. That were considered advanced on its point of release, and it's still considered as a great advancement even to the standard of today RTSes. Total Annihilation IS the standard bar for most RTSes.
