Could someone else make some test with Eldar in Black Fortres, Old good Battlefield maps I've made several test with all the combination possible (but Always 4vs4 via Load_Mod_Dev to time issues).

It seems to me that my problem (aka Eldar tends to jump to last tier-units as Super Heavies and Titan and folize troops on corsairs when they can, avoiding the most of times to build other units) is due to start position of the IA..

I would like to suggest to you to cut out everything that it isn't space marines and split them in separate army or at lest two faction (loyal and betrayal). The work on new space marines models is great !
For a Alpha release of a Minimod they are completly sufficient, even more.
I don't think to much people will play your mod (at this point) for an intriguing Eldar,IG vs DE,Orks match with usuals units.
Focus on Original stufs give identity to your mod!

I think none could complaint for something home-made, completly gratis, and even proposed in a very discret fashion without promising anything or spending tons of words to auto celebrate, and with a very clear credit section.

Personally I prefer released buggy/partially-done mod instead of gigantic never-going-to-be-released-and-realized but-a-lot-celebrated mod.

To install patch 1.73.4 I estract files from Rar to UA directory in SS installation directory and overwright everything.

in the "main page" of launched game I see UA v.(1.73)1.73.4 or something like it.

I havn't tried smaller scale map or with less player but I suppose it could be an issue with some map.. or large scale battle..

I've tried after a complete reinstallation but in my games Eldar AI still had some issues.

I play insane with: XP2 (Total Annihilation, I don't remember), Massive/Extreme battles, Heroes, Game Timer, Titan Wars, Annihlation (destroy all the enemies win conditions..). AI settings are both: Alernative Strategies, Dynamic Construction Building check or uncheck in every possible combination. Build Mines it isn't never checked.

I paly usually 4vs4 1024x1024 or 1024x512 maps Old Good Battlefield, Black Fortress, Viridis Abyssus (rarely). Armies usually are: Eldar, IG, SM, one more from the same or rarely Tau; vs Chaos, Orks, rarely DE or Nec or Tau .

Eldar AI the most of time start building a few aspect warriors and avarage Guardians, then bypass completely to build standard vehicles from support portal (that is builded) and start to spam eldar corsair instead of building aspect warriors. Usually after tier two they wait Heavy support portal to be builded and produce 1 Scorpion, 1 Nightspinner Super heavy, and then only Storm Serpent. I didn't see any Cobra Super heavy builded by AI. With Titans they do very well.
(Infantery never uograde with support platform).

Randomly and very rarely I've played some matches where Eldar AI have builded standard vehicles well upgraded and even more rarely (two times) Wrait guard well upgraded and a variety of aspect Warriors.

When I play with two Eldar AI second could be competitive, but not every time.

I've checked several matches also with UltimateApocalypse_Load Mod-Dev

I wish that it isn't only my issue because I really don't know what could be wrong, maybe some issue with maps or large scale battles I use to play..

I also don't see any time IG AI build Mechanized facilty for the variety of leman russ (second Type).

I would suggest more deadly effect for Phantom Titan (and a bit more damage) and scale up Tau Manta.

Manta is H-U-G-E, it is the Greatest units at WH40000 standard (forgeworld standard) size.

Even more I think Stormraven fury shoulden't be meant like a superheavy/titan-like units but like a flying land raider (for stats a bit less and deployment).

It would be great to see fighting Tunderhawk Gunship.
Like in DA mod or even better like in BT mod (Imo).

They could spam them a bit more..

There aren't variations for Caos LR by main roulebook..

But something possesed by a deamon would be grat !!!!!

Rocket launcher like preaviously Fuggles suggested to Bagatour for his WS:LR

I'like this ideas it would be a performing assault LR with great anti heavy fantery saturation fire !!!


It would be also interesting a full transport land raider witout spons weapon but with equippement like damocles provinding a behind enemy lines mobil HQ or even with two more portel providing an augmented transport capacity (maybe with te special skill to deploy a full reinforced squad that was loaded in basic status.

SM Barracks:

BT seal = Crusader squad, Sword Brethern, Sword Brethern Terminator

To build general units or other specialists you need to build another barracks and choose another seal or didn't do it.

By this way playing UA could let player to deploy real interfaction crusade.

The reason is that Ally and Enemy Cpu doesn't build the second type and thy don't use all the variants of lemann russ...

And could you do make some more airstrike abilities for IG with marauder bomber like those with Vulture ?

And again Marauder bomber is bigger in size and more resilient than vulture. It need at least 7000 pf

And again again Eladr Wraitlord is one of the more Resilient units in Warhammer with Res 8 and 3 Wounds I think you should give to it more Pf and hardness :)

I like that a constructive criticism is accepted (random english like every time.. := )..

Then, yes your mod is VERY well developped but since preavious versions first tier units get some obsolescence in middle-last part of match.

This thing for now is well acceptable but id just would like to warn you that introducing lots of titan it could being inaceptable (imo).

I think that the best way to get best Warhammer 40000 feeling is to keep in mind original illustration from John Blanche and other storical GW Artist..better tha lexicanum ecc..

Take a look at Titan legion retail game with imperator titan and two mega garagant in a SEA of soldier and vehicles.

In my opinion you should find a way that keep a Titan in the game has a strategic value like capture a listening post.

For example having a titan in game give to the palyer some Apocalyps Resource that allows you to build ordinary units faster, or giving them special abilities or gain possibility to fire super weapon. By this way titans aeren't only super fire power for ordinary gameplay but a mobil strategic point.

By this way gameplay wuoldn't anymore roule around strategic point but also around titan.

Hell YeaaaHHHHH !!!!!!

I understand that could seems a bit impopoular comment but titans and super heavy's should be utlized with and not instead low scale units...

Some ideas: Titans and super havies could give that capacity to perform a defense strategy that is almost deney be DoW, while normal units should gain some special abilities at last tier to perform resolutive actions for secondary objectives like a beter capacity to destroy buildings ecc...

Those are only some ideas but I think It Wouldn't be so cool to see only baneblade and titans in future matches of UAmod ... :|

Anyway This is a great mod !!! I think the greatest warhammer experience I ever done !!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

.. And Please add Eldar Phantom Titan and Warlock Titan and grot tanks ;)
