This is not a mod, it's a standalone game that is being developed from scratch, some placeholders are being used like the kakashi character model.. And yeh test the game if it'd make you laugh =)
this year's planned release of 1.2.0 will be a deathmatch version of the game to keep our community busy while we work on the MMOARPG elements of Narusimu. This early deathmatch version will also allow us to collect valuable data and perfect our combat system. This will require hosting of small servers by players in a lobby type of environment.
The kakashi model you see in the video is a place holder.
We did not have a character modeller. We now do.
And this will be replaced.
When narusimu is a game, you willbe able to make your own character with full customization.
The goal is to simulate a world similar to that of the Naruto universe. We will have multiple villages, quests and jutsu progression as well as different ninja ranks. The game will be kept as one which is skill based as much as possible.
None of what will be in Narusimu will be anything that is special to Naruto. For example, the hand signs, chakra natures, ninjas, kunais weapons and so on come from the Japaneese / Chineese lore.. and because of that we're free to use it.
As for the Indiegogo or Kickstarter, the goal of these 2 is to raise money for the game its self.. be it more resources or for the sake of a big stable server. You can google it, huge servers which can be occupied by many players and still cause no lag are not cheap at all.
And just like i said nothing of what will be in Narusimu is exclusive to what is in Naruto.
