Oh... Strange, sorry if I misled. I was messing around with it for a custom history and found no difference between +2, +5, and +50. But I didn't compare it to normal feeding. Hm.
Oh! I should maybe mention a bug with the histories Perv, ****, Lowborn, and Tom.
In traiteffects000.txt their BloodPool modifier is entered as "Damage +2", but it seems that their feeding bonuses are only applied if this is changed to "Damage 2".
UP sets me up with widescreen resolutions up to my native 2560x1440, but I'm trying to see if I can downsample from something higher like 3840x2160. Just experimenting, no big deal. :P
I don't suppose it's still possible with the Unofficial Patch installed to set up a higher-than-native resolution for downsampling? It used to be that you'd just enter the new resolutions into ResPatcher, but UP appears to use its own DLLs.
Can't your friend get the update on Steam? My understanding is that the Desura keys can be activated on Steam.

I've downloaded the Diplomacy 1.011 release and this is probably the most impressive mod I've ever seen. I feel like I should have paid for it.
However, I seem to be having some texture issues. I don't mean the team color issue, as I've turned the team colors off. What I mean is that unlike in the screenshots and videos here, all of the Maelstrom races appear to be using just a flat, tiled chrome texture. i.e. Everything is a shiny light grey, making the three races almost indistinguishable, visually.
Is this a known issue, or is it perhaps related to the team color bug?
