love this mod, especially for lanning. i'd always hoped that one day it could have a ninja team in it aswell, though - i mean, how cool would it be to ninja star that mouthy little parrot right off that guys shoulder?
i like the split/second type "projected" hud thing, but imo you should explore other avenues of displaying relevant information. it works for split second but it would be cooler for shift to have it's own thing.
meh, source engine was built for scalability. ep 2 engine looks nice enough and imo graphics take a backseat to gameplay. this comes from someone who just recently (yet again) finished the original (shifter modded) deus ex last week.
atmosphere and visual fidelity aren't mutually exclusive.
every time i attempt to boot this mod the screen turns white. i hear the jingle for the valve company logo playing but the screen is just white and i cant interact with it in any way... i tried the directx8 thing in the readme but it does the same thing.
wow! this looks awesome, the amount of detail in the unique gibbing stuff looks great! maybe consider using a block/counter system for the melee combat like condemned and a slower backpedal to promote fighting or turning and running rather than the hit and run type thing?
too bad your work looks really good! would have liked to have seen farscape in source engine and use the luxan blade rifle to stab/shoot peeps faces off.
someone should make this mod for mp2. majority of mp2 mods are a bit loud. so many of them are all about camera shake when the player shoots but thats just irritating. i miss kf3.0... the golden days of max payne modding *sigh*
this has probably already been said, but can you release a zipped or rar'd version aswell? I'm running MP2 on an intel mac through an emu of sorts, and it cant detect the install of MP2, let alone run the mod installer itself.
which as you can understand is pretty sucky, cause this mod looks pretty sweet.
well, in the meantime i'll just boot up dosbox and play the original, i guess.
A main theme of the Half-Life series is the use of teleporters. It stands to reason that the player could just teleport to all these places.
Either that or, like those guys said, it's a long game.

Patched to 1.3, some models are still missing... might have to actually buy OrangeBox now.
Do I need OrangeBox for this? I installed it but it's not loading some of the models in-game (replacing them with the red glowing 'ERROR' thingys.
Edit: I scrolled down this page, and will try the 1.3 patch. I thought that might have been the case, but I'll see if that fixes the problem.
plz release a lannable version.
Nice model, zipties are an awesome touch haha

no offence, but the concept art is a little unconvincing.

this particular shot looks like the vandenburg base in deus ex
dont let this die. i still play rune. this could be awesome.
lol "NEVER SWALLOW THE DENTOL!"

looks awesome. one gripe ive always had with half life is the ladder climbing... it's so weird.
anyway, nice work
it's hard to believe that this is all in the gldsrc engine. it looks soooo puuurrrrdy :3
no way the orange light looks great. they add another element to the palette and help dirty up the ships appearance.
nice mapping :D
wheres the actual screenshots >.>
It's taking a long time because the devs have work to do that they actually get paid for.
the blooms on a bit heavy. looks like the player has chlorine in the eyes.
trolls dont deserve hands, because they typically need brains to be used correctly.
must convert kf3.0 for mp2 -_-
Weeeeeee! Can't wait! Oh crap I don't have orange box....... Time to toddle off to EB...

heh. looks like a pp filter for movie maker imo.
eveybody forgot the likes of XIII
no, they are actually gone. they went under a while ago, now.
