The community is always here to volunteer voice acting! I'd love to see a mod where almost every NPC was played be a different actor!

Wow, you shouldn't have halved the ******* damage of EVERY SINGLE WEAPON. Why do I have to double barrel blast someone TWICE without shields?
The new UI is big and cumbersome. Meters and bars are a lot sleeker than size 20 font numbers.
The game is congested with weapons, I'd like it if there was a limit to how many weapons you could carry at one time (IE one sidearm, one primary, one heavy, and one melee) and have to drop a weapon to pick up another unless it was empty, in which case you would auto swap your empty weapon for the fresh one.
I liked the old versions much better.

-Easier ledge grabs (I know you can do it in AHL2 but for the life of me can't figure it out.)
-A tutorial map
-A basass sounding announcer
-Objective game modes
I'm never saying you did, its just bad PR to wag a game in front of our faces that uses the assets for an incomplete game we're still waiting for.
I too understand the programmer hunt. Its something about them that makes them come and go A LOT. I was formerly working on a remake of insurgency because of the whole controversy of the previous team splitting and handing it off to someone else who then put the mod on lockdown until he got money (yes, this is a true story). We'd gotten very close to the Alpha milestone on a orange box conversion when I'd had computer troubles and out programmer dropped off the face of the planet and quit. So we just sat in Programmer limbo until the original INS team decided to take up a remake, which my team may or may not be absorbed into.
TL;DR Mod making is hard, but that's no reason to have everyone set their standards low.
I appreciate the response to my comment, but please try to st-ray away from the "Its free therefore your expectations should be bottom-of-the-bin low" statement. It insults me as a player.
Mods are made because you think of a concept you fall in love with, and want to build it up and thrust it into the world to get praise and a sense of accomplishment, which it does bring IF you deliver it in quality. However, you cannot say "well so what if its incomplete its free" and expect people to think you'll deliver any more quality than what you've shown in the past.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Vroom is **** or anything, actually it looks quite fun to pick up and play, but waving a completed project in the face of the audience that is STILL waiting for another project is just bad PR man. It makes us feel betrayed in a sense.
and another thing, if you're not going to finish Shotgun Sunrise then just come out and say it, don't use this page to beg us for your support on a separate project, when our support got us nothing but disappointment on this project.
Update the SS page if its SS related, not to beg for attention.

That post didn't make me feel any better (in fact maybe a little worse), its basically saying "sorry we deceived you but oh well". Like I said previously, this shitstorm wouldn't have spawned if you said WAYYY back before Christmas that you talked with Valve. Then people would have been prepping for you to go indie even before you got an answer from Valve. If you had done that instead of posting loads of media in between then and announcing this no one would be mad. The game community (especially one that is as active in watching development as Moddb) is a very touchy business, and once you have a trusting community, they have to be 0 sure of your intentions.
I will buy your game, but only on the condition that it does not break the $10USD mark.

Umm, you really think you have the community for that...your community on here is only about 2000 people, and my community (eGO, who is 30,000 strong) has trouble getting 2k in the same amount of time.
Its actually an older (or maybe the same) model, we're using INS 2007 content after all.

Pardon my english impaired friend. Insurgency: Redeployment is a mod based off the source code of Insurgency 1.0c, one of the pre-steamworks releases.
The reason for us to have such an early version is because a long time ago (shortly before INS 2.0 I think), the development team switched from Jeremy and Agrll to Dr_Spielmann and jaboo224. Shortly after releasing Insurgency 2.5 through steamworks, they stopped working and demanded $10,000 each in return for the source code and content. Therefore they killed the mod themselves.
They can do this because presumably all work done on the project beyond 2.0 is their intellectual property.
Shortly after that, Jeremy released the source code of Insurgency 1.0c to the general public. I picked it up and posted it on the Edgegamers.org forums, hoping to pick up a few team members. I succeeded, and our WIP project is what lays before you.

You can make a smooth pillar by making a block the size of the pillar you want, then make two copies and stack them horizontally. After that make the sides into a displacement (not top and bottom, unless they are visible to the player), then subdivide all 3 sets of displacements. The top and bottom pillars will be deformed, but the middle one will be perfectly smooth.
So you won't have to work with those having to align all those vertexes to the grid to keep brushes from colliding.

I see you took my advice and jacked up the shadows on the textures...nice. However, I would make decorating the walls a priority. Also, cubicles are designed to keep people from socializing in a small space (sad, in't it?) so the walls should be just high enough that you can't see over them completely.

Nice, but that ocean looks like pond water, do what Dear Ester did with their ocean water. Make an animated, non-solid texure block and put in one unit above the surface, making it look like "waves"

A tad simplistic, that was a problem with almost all GOps maps. Make sure in the final versions of the map to add detail. Like bushes and such.
I'm guessing these are world models? You wouldn't need the little details beneath the trigger (notches?), the one underneath the barrel of the sniper, or the ridges under the stock of the M4A1.

I'm not really liking the iron sights....I feel they'll slow down the moderate pace of multiplayer that ZP is famous for. Does it really make a significant difference if you use them or not? I'd be nice if it only made a slight difference (like ten to twenty percent spread decrease) so you wouldn't be FORCED to use them all the time.
