Wish all these Windows players would stop complaining and just switch to Linux

When I start the game, it goes to the login prompt. I try to type but I can't type anything. I try to click on ANY button, and nothing happens. I can ctrl+alt+F1 to a shell prompt, but I don't know what the process name is to kill it.

Using Ubuntu 13.10 64 bit.

When I launch the game, the only thing that happens is a text file opening that says:

java -jar defender-full-1.03.jar

I'm running Ubuntu 13.10 64-bit. Any ideas?

Agreed. Also over the abilities, I can never remember which one does what and always use them incorrectly, wasting my energy.

Are you guys going to release War in a Box on Desura for Linux?

Too bad there isn't a Linux version. I'd buy this if there were.

It was really popular among Linux gamers until Steam came out for Linux; I haven't played it much since then myself.

I got the game for $15 under the name "LINUX users always pay more!" but it still shows up as "Anonymous" on the contributor chart :( Want to show how much Linux users pay~~

I got this on Steam hoping that the Linux version would be available soon, but it looks like it'll never get put on Steam. Can I get a Desura key, since the Linux version is on Desura????

Awesome! I bought this on an Indie Royale bundle but I only use Linux, so hopefully Indie Royale will give me a Linux Desura key when you release a Linux version :)
