Wherever you find famine, drought, war, flood, ect. you will find Christians helping the people there.
I wasn't trolling. i tried to make that post as non-offensive as possible.
Neither of you have said where i was wrong.
I disagree with a couple of these, but women do have their part, same as men.
Many people choose their religion when they are older
Jesus most likely was middle-eastern, as that is what part of the world he was born in. The only thing i've seen in the Bible about it says about it is this; “There is no beauty that we should desire Him.” -Isaiah 53:2
Science proves Creationism. Here's how;
From a logical point of view, there are only two possibilitys of how life originated.
Possibility One; that a bunch of atoms somehow came together perfectly to form DNA, , Enzymes, all of the different parts of a cell, all at once, all in the same place. Not only did these things come together so perfectly that the cell could consume/use energy, it could also reproduce itself. The chance of all of this happening, all at the same time, is incredibly small. Usually something in science with a extremely small chance of happening is referred to as “impossible.”
Possibility Two; God created everything. There isn't much of a obvious scientific way to prove or disprove this other than what i'm about to type here.
So, two possibility.
The first, abiogenesis, disproved itself with being against extremely long odds. Which, by process of elimination, only leaves creationism, proving that God is real.
41.) Yes, i did have to google it. No, Atavism doesn't prove that humans evolved from apes.
42.) Same as no.38.
43.) Same as no.42.
44.) There are ways to compare the these two subjects. Animals and people were designed, whether you believe by God or by an evolutionary process.
45.) As said above, apes are similar to humans in some ways.
46.) No, i just know that i was created by God.
47.) I don't know any of these people. And i think about and examine the things i hear/see, i don't simply take them.
48.) Same as no.43.
49.) When i get information, i think of it as logically as i can.
50.) Same as no.48.
All 50 of these points have been countered. Responses are welcome, ill respond as best i can.
31.) Same as no.28.
32.) Everything is usable to humans, or interesting to them, so in a way everything is in fact designed for humans.
33.) Same as no.31.
34.) The number of people believing in a theory are irrelevant here.
35.) Same as no.33 +politics are irrelevant here.
36.) The number of people believing in a theory are irrelevant here.
37.) As stated above, evolution is real- to a point.
38.) Same as no.35.
39.) No, evolution is real to a point, as stated above. I'm a Christian, yet i know evolution is real(again, to a point.)
40.) Time is irrelevant here.
21.) A point to number 21. would be appreciated.
22.) Same as no.21.
23.) There is no scientific evidence to support either theory. The Ark could easily be explained as a miracle. Considering abiogenesis would have had to of happened in order to have the amount of evolution mentioned here, and considering the likelyhood of abiogenesis as seen above, this theory is much less likely to have happened then the Ark theory.
24.) T-Rex, along with the other dinosaurs, were most likely extinct by the time Jesus came. The second statement of no.24 doesn't warrant a lengthy response.
25.) Same as no.22.
26.) No, i have not been to school in quite some time, and i should be in highscool at the moment. This fact is irrelevant.
27.) Same as no.25.
28.) Same as no.27.
29.) As stated above, evolution is real- to a point.
30.) As stated above, evolution is real- to a point.
11.) Yes, theory is based on scientific facts. Which, would technically mean, that the Big Bang and Abiogenesis “theorys” are misclassified. These are still hypothesis, considering nether one has any facts to prove it.
12.) Not sure where science self-corrects itself, more explanation would be welcomed here. The Bible never contradicts itself, therefore doesn't need correcting. If it did contradict itself, it would not need correcting, it would need to be ignored entirely, because if it contradicted itself it would be false.
13.) Not at all, evolution is the slow change of a creature over multiple generations. Example; The Hammerhead shark's “hammer” is slowly getting thinner over the years.
14.) I can't see any point or logic to no.14, therefore i don't need to counter it any more than this.
15.) Evolution can be a tool of Satan. While alot of televangelists teach falsehood, that is, things not found in the bible, the point of evolution being a tool of Satan is somewhat true. As far as gays, true Christians should not hate anyone. We should keep ourselves away from such people though.
16.) As stated above, alot of televangelists are not true Christians, and carbon dating is flawed.
17.) I am often wrong about things, and i will probley never learn as much as some people have forgotten.
18.) As stated above, carbon dating is flawed.
19.) I can follow this logic, but i know that there are no facts to support evolution of this level.
20.) I don't think this ever happened to me, but there isn't a point to no.20 anyways.
1.) Body structure is similar, other than that there's nothing to prove we came from apes.
2.) Discovery, History, Science and National Geographic channels are about all i watch. +Military channel, but that is irrelevant.
3.) Alot of my time is spent figuring out how stuff works.
4.) Considering we all aren't clones, evolution is real To a Point. How many people believe evolution is irrelevant.
5.) I do prefer the idea of creationism, considering there is a 1/1InsertVeryLargeAmountOfZerosHere chance for abiogenesis to happen, which is about as close to impossible as you can get scientifically.
6.) I know the difference between these theorys.
7.) No, they haven't found any found any fossils linking apes to humans. But to counter no.7, There was a experiment done (i think it was done by Harvard) where they took a chicken bone, and buried it in the ground. They dug it up a few years later, carbon dated it, and the results said it was over 2000 years old (or something like that, i don't remember the exact numbers.). Point being, carbon dating is flawed, therefore we don't know how old the ape fossils are, or the earth for that matter.
8.) As said above, no, they haven't found the “missing link.”
9.) As i remember, he was an explorer in 16th or 17th century, and came up with the theory of evolution. He was a Christian for some time, but eventually lost his faith.
10.) The Bible says nothing about the earth being flat, the other things are what would be called, Miracles.
Thanks for continuing your work. Its mods like this that keep Generals alive.
Some bad news; im going to go ahead and call it quits on this mod. it feels more like a job nowadays, and its been inactive for a while now. Plus im trying to help another guy get his mod started.
If anyone would like to continue the mod, i would be glad to hand it over. If anyone wants to use art/programming from this in their own mod, feel free to do so, except with stuff that i used from The Great Trench War mod(infantry, albatross, trenches). If you want to use the Steam shovel unit, Airdrome, or Ammo Dump, contact me and i would be glad to give them to you.
sorry for not completing the mod guys :/
Did some more work today, been trying to add guns to the airfield and i got the steam shovel working better.
Small update; work is starting to pick back up on the mod again, slowly. Ive found that the command sets can't be switched on Generals like they can be on Zero Hour, so i've added the Steam Shovel unit.
sortof,i havent worked on this in a while, partially due to the command set issues. i dont think there is a way to make a change command set button in Generals. im thinking of just adding a steam-shovel unit to build trenches. i also havent found a skinner yet :/
cool, lol. looking good:)
i don't think it will be, as long as i can focus on ZH without having to worry about Generals, and vise-versa.
and thanks for the support!
lol, me too
they aren't built into the ground, because (as far as i know) there is not a way to do that in Generals or ZH. But they are made to look that way. they will work the same as when you garrison infantry in a regular civilian building (when the building dies the infantry die).
Well, the thing is, is that im not (at the moment) planning on releasing a bunch of maps with this, and a few buildings (like the Barracks) will actually be upgrades for the trenches. And making trenches buildable means most maps can be used with my mod.
I will still probably have some maps with trenches already integrated later on tho
ya, me too. skinners are hard to find nowadays :/
hey, i dont know if you know about it, but there's a WW1 reenactment in Missouri (i think) every year. its goes on for like 3 days strait.
there's also Firstworldwar.com , a site for WW1 era music and speeches.
all fyi, encase you didn't already know about these
ya, it sorta led to WW2. but during/after WW1 it was nicknamed the "War to End All Wars"
lol, thats cool. if anyone ever made a mod that used the beta-alpha models found in the gamefiles, i think this would go great with it
cool, do_i_ob. hope you like it so far :D
glad y'all like it!
Welcome. i meant to have it out sooner, but at least its here
glad you like the giant tricycle :D
and ya, the rifleman needs some fixing, lol. TGTW team did good on him tho
and good to hear you like the arty :)
thanks for the tip!
(and *Beta, not Alpha, lol)
