I almost thought the mod gonna have a full episode playing.
But I wouldn't know how that would work?
If it use GBA or Video Now quality?

Ever heard of the mod mk-champions?
it's on zdoom forums mostly called "CHAMPIONS"
mostly a mod that give monsters colors with new abilities and skills.
Thinking that might be a neat idea to combine/mashup with that and
with the collecting souls mod,
and a lite rpg idea
like making player's monsters stronger or getting rare color cards
by collecting more souls of the same monster.

Still a neat mod idea, be nice to see this be compatibly for all game wads,
like
Heretic, Hexen and Strife, and others.
And maybe ideas like collecting the same monster souls
levels up that monster stats,
Like every level they move 10 percent faster and 10 percent more HP.

Ah I see, I know Simsun shader should be good for 3d model.
But relighting the settings have to be retweak, and turn off a few things to looks decent for fully 3d mods.

They Hunger: Source is a pretty good port of Chapter 1,
but I can tell it's not 100 percent perfect. it's more like 90 percent perfect.
I mean it not gonna be 1 to 1 just like the original, as it's a different engine,
but can be close to 99 percent with the new engine.
Keep on the good work, I know Chapter 2 and 3 would take a while.

Almost 90 percent perfect port of Episode 1,
as the minor details are not fully perfect,
like the male zombies diversity are lacking abit,
as you see the same ones alot,
and the female zombies sound like male ones as well.
And other minor issues.
But I guess these be minor issues that be fix later on?

I like this mod, but I believe it is half compatible for the latest GZdoom.
Not if someone fan patch the game or make a addon to make it fully playable,
as I tried it on v4.8.2, the game "crash" as you'll get kicked
into the console menu saying something about the weapons issues
when you switch to another weapon.

Play the mod with one companion mod
or something like Xim's Helper Marines mod,
but only use the Medic, Backpack marine, and Dog.
Or what ever choice that isn't to many or over powered.
Kinda help like being is swat team yourself
