I agree with lol3r. It's a great blend of old and new. The auto-9 looks superb too. It gave me goosegumps.

This sounds great. The models were already pretty good for me before but optimizations are always nice.

Amazing post. I have always supported the direction you took with this mod and this post made me see the time periods even more differently than before. I like the research and thought you put into all of this.

Just a fun question: at first I thought the picture of the modern panties was just from a promotion but it says "panties selfi", so is that really you in the photo?

How do you get these units?

I'm glad you made the mod the way it is and I hope you continue this theme and lore in your future development.

I like how they depict the Amazons in their mod and not all are nude like Parthianshot said. I think the nude aspect makes the warrior women culture more believable because they are more isolated from the rest of the world's culture and sensibilities.

On a different note entirely, I just realized there was a quest campaign.. What exactly is it?

How many turns and what do you have to do trigger the quest elements?

And what exactly are the differences in the 3 campaign quest choices?

I see. I don't really care about naval combat but if its part of your vision then I can see why you would want it.

On a different note, I found some missing lore. The Geothe Amazon Pike Women have no text. I love reading all of your interesting lore and was sad to see none for this unit.

I've put 40+ hours into this great mod and will put a lot more still. I never would've thought I would go back to Rome:Total War after all these years but this mod made me do it.

I know I've asked this before, but it was a few months ago now, but how is the progress going on with the updated version?

I'm not trying to rush you as I'm quite content with this mod. To put things into perspective I could wait another half year or more for the next version to come out. I know how much work these mods require. I'm just curious.

I'm also grateful that you keep updating this mod.

Also If you ever need a private tester or someone to give you more personal feedback I can be your person.

Whatever you guys feel that you can truly do you should do. I'm cool with either choice as long as you can guys can support it well with your resources.

I'm not trying to rush you, so please take your itme, but is there any update on what engine the next version of this mod will be on? If you have any idea, I will look for deals during the Steam christmas sale.

What counters War Wagons? They're literally unstoppable for any of my forces. I can't harm them with any melee or ranged weapon. I am using lower tier units though. I do not have any variation of War Wagons myself.

Are they supposed to be this tough?

That's very soon. I hope you guys will make it. While I would have to buy Attila I would love to see what you guys can do with the new engine when I think about it.

So I'm really leaning in that direction for the new platform.

Thank you, I can load the battle now. Those War Wagons are tough as nails. They totally destroyed what was otherwise my unstoppable army.

I'm playing as the Thyssa Amazons.

I'm also fighting the horde version of the Parthians after conquering their last settlement. They have units that I haven't fought against I believe.

I'm getting an error when trying to load a battle now. It happens when fighting Parthia (sp):

Thank you so much for updating this great mod. I love it. It's very adult and unique and adds so much to Total War in general. I never would've found out if you hadn't of updated it.

I'm now back to playing one of the best Total Wars. I'm having so much nostalgia.

If you have any more ideas for expanding upon the great Amazon lore, no matter how adult it may be, I'm all for it.
