I wish I could afford to contribute to the kick starter. I noticed this game a while ago and was interested. Could have sworn I was tracking it actually. Well, at least that's fixed.

Maybe if the kickstarter goes well you all could eventually start offering pre-order sort of stuff to let those of us who can't afford it now support you all when we can?

That is part of the challenge man! But the next release will have even more interesting ways to deal with it.

I doubt anyone is going to have an issue with TIS. They did get what they paid for and I don't think anyone doubts the good intention of the devs. Though to be fair I got the game a LONG time ago and am to broke to buy it again so it didn't really involve me.

LoL I've been watching this game for a while. A long while. Since it first hit here at least. I think.. I think I saw it somewhere else first? Dunno. But really hate facebook. Id rather pre-order or something that go over there for a chance to get it free.

As much as I'm interested in your game.. I hate facebook more. :p I'd rather wait till it's available and I can afford to pay my way into the game.

Haha! Very cool! Games with murdering people in their sleep PVP! Not enough of those! I like a lot of what your going for. The choice to move away from a complicated combat system goes strongly against my tastes, and you have a really good set up to so something tactical, but everything else may eventually get me interested in this project anyways. Good luck!

If you want to shoot dragons with assault rifles look into Shadowrun. Though you would probably be better off with a 50cal machinegun. I mean if you dont want to die too fast anyway.

Looking good! Gotta tell you though. Im a pansy. The night time view doesnt concern me much as I avoid being out at night as much as possible in misery. If it's completely night time I am either in some main camp selling stuff, hitting my stash, or sleeping... Or I am terrified creeping with a balance of haste and stealth toward the nearest safe spot.

I mean.. There is nothing like getting caught out at night by bloodsuckers and whatever other random nastiness is drawn by my wild and frantic spray at the beasty.

Can you jump out of a second story window? Is it auto death? Or is there a chance to land safely or only take injury? Does it take surface you are landing on into account? Nice soft grass might not be so bad.

You know I've been following this mod since... well Im pretty sure since before the first public release. But I've never really taken part in these polls I don't think. I've always been more than content to just see your teams vision of the mod when it comes. Have I maybe been letting the team down by not contributing?

<.< >.> -.- You guys know it's all a scam right? They developed the entire first release and all the content for the media we've seen just so that when release comes we can download.... A giant troll face! It's coming I tell you!

(Not really. I love the Misery team. While the delays pain me it's only because it becomes so much better with each one.)

Just how much epic do you all plan to pack into one mod? Any more and you just might break the universe! That said very cool flashlight. It looks very much real too. A shame every rind up, crank, or squeeze flashlight I've ever seen was some flimsy plastic piece of crap. lol

Wow, inspired by this I looked them up and there are actually a couple reliable looking flashlights of this style! Sadly none look as good as yours. hehe

Roh Feb 2 2013, 8:31pm replied:

You would if you wanted to run things regularly or if you wanted to run anything with a serious drain. The suggestion was to have them be rare enough that they would pretty much be reusable backups. That would barely run your essentials long enough to get back to camp or such.

:p But it was just an idea. Its only a "game ender" for those with too little imagination to implement it properly.

Roh Feb 2 2013, 1:36pm says:

Actually some rare, smaller rechargeable batteries along with a small solar recharging station would be cool. When you know you are going to be working in one area for a while you find an out of the way spot and set it up. Recharging your low batteries. You could make them small and rare enough just to be sure that you can access your pda or turn on a light without additional batteries. Just an idea.
