Hello, my name is R-Matt999... well, that's my internet Alias. My actual full name is Matthew [CLASSIFIED] Lapointe, ummm... my middle name is so embarrassing that it has to be hidden, okay.. a bit of a lie there. My FIRST name is so embarrassing that it has to be hidden, that's right folks, I go by my middle name because my first name is so stupidly insanely retardedly fugly. Oh sure, you'll whine and complain about what it really is but I'd rather eat a wad of tin foil than tell you my name. ANYWAY, I am now 16 years old, I was born on August 2 in 1992, and I'm in grade 11. By the age of 5, my uncle (Todd Bennett - yeah, he's famous.. tee-hee!) inspired me into modding for Half-Life, NOW... I'm creating a major Half-Life improvement called Plasma that makes me sit back in my chair and go "Wow.... I -with a LOT of help from my team (FPDream Software) created this...wow...holy..prune....wow...etc...". All my mod development started from me making small little retarded maps which progressed into hundreds of levels for HL : Opposing Forces. Eventually I got smarter and wiser and decided to make my own mod, before I started on making a mod, I got a retarded idea that I regret to this day (just kidding). I got the idea to create a new Half-Life which I would make all the mods for it, well that didn't work out too well... Half-Life Twin turned to be an even more failed project than Microsoft Windows Vista (and boy, that's saying something :O). I'm not going to fill in all the details because its too stressful to think about right now. I then decided to do the same thing again -BUT do it more precise since I had gotten a bit more smarter. I had to then come up with a name for it... HLT was a failed project, I couldn't call it the same thing so I just dropped it for a while. One day at school in grade six or seven or something, me and one of my old friend was blabbin on about TV's and stuff for ummm... I can't remember why.. he was a TVaholic I suppose. He was chattering about every TV that you could possibly think of (I can't list them right now because ummm.. duh.......), lastly he then got into talking about how weird plasma screen TV's are. The word 'PLASMA' struck me like a lightning bolt at that moment, my eyes grew wide and the hair on the back of my neck stood up. After school the same day, I had decided what the name for my HL stand-alone was going to be called; 'PLASMA'. The progress went pretty good, it worked perfectly that time, and I was pretty happy. My first Plasma game (mod) was called Hale, a game based on the first AOM, I was quite proud of that. Then came Half-Life 3, which didn't last too long, then came the original buggy crappy Quark which was my biggest and best Plasma mod back then. Lastly came Circa 17, an unfinished halted project to this day. By the time that I started Circa 17, I found ModDB, so I joined and had gotten an idea. I decided to make Circa 17 a Plasma game and a Half-Life mod, I did that and happily went on in my moddingly happy way. I then one day decided to add Plasma into the game section, but the next day or so, the ModDB main leader (!Intense I think it is -Sorry if I got it wrong) informed me that making stand-alones for Half-Life was not exactly legal. I was pretty shooken up from that, as quickly as I could, I converted Plasma into a Half-Life mod. Sure it was hard but I'd have to say that it's more than accomplished. I then put Circa 17 on rest which it still is and started modding. I'd have to say that more than I could ever had previously imagined in Plasma has been or is being accomplished. I also have a mod that me and TheAfroMan created which you can find HERE, I'm too lazy right now to say how I had gotten started on that mod right now... maybe later.
Well, I suppose that all that crap wasted a lot of your time, sorry dudes for doing so... well anyway, that's most of my modding history...
See ya you prunes!
