Considering on getting my hands on this game.
As usual though I would like to hear what you guys think. Have it? Love it? Hate it? Would you recommend it?

True but it's difficult to get your hands on new games when you have no job.
Why do you think I still play YGO, Skyrim and Warframe? It's either a game I have that was cheap or a game that's free.

Plus I would like to play MP as well. Hence why I want to buy it actually.
EE is not bad honestly, I do play it still sometimes. It has the best story of all the titles imho. It isn't clogged up with hundreds of copied and sometimes also redundant units. It does not have people raging on the MP because of sudden air strike spams and mega napalm bombing runs. It does not have the naval warfare mechanic the IGN called the worst addition in the history of Wargame series.
The maps are however much smaller than in the newer titles and ofc the number of nations and units overall is also smaller. The battlefield is like an company or brigade-sized NATO against WARPAC force. You win entire by controlling sectors, destroying the enemy units or trying to take control of an enemy base if played on siege mode IIRC. The game can also be played same forces versus same forces to simulate situations like Poland rebelling against Soviet dominance.
It is a good RTT game, very... realistic in terms of factions and equipment. It's the Arma of RTT in my humble opinion. If you want, I can play some MP matches with you with my on the Soviet side. BTW, you need points to unlock units.
ALB was the best TBH..
Go for AirLandBattle. It's a more complete game with awesome MP and jets!(I have it, but I suck at it...) You also get discounts for other Wargame titles if you have ALB!
Be warned tho this game is friggen hard xD
