Milos, the Ranger Commander joined Oct 20, 2010

Greetings, stranger. Welcome to my page. I am Ori'verda AKA Milos and I currently live in the Netherlands. I like games, girls, books, movies and teamwork. Also I enjoy discussing about religion, politics, history and such affairs. And ignore the fact that a lot of my groups are Science-Fiction related, I love Sci-Fi for good reasons! ☢ ☢ ☢ P.S. The video with the redhead is not porn! I may be a crazy Serbian but I'm not that crazy. Besides that I'm a goof, in fact to show you I am going to fill up the my description with random banter, why? Yeah you guessed it, I'm not that strange or weird it is in fact to get a HTML code to work, if you don't know what that is good luck. Regardless I suppose I should continue filling out this description field according to that manual so I can get a cooler description, I don't know if that makes sense to you but according to the manual it works so it must work right? Well it should otherwise you would not be seeing this... Or would you? SRB FTW!

"Well, isn't this extremely vague." Ori'verda remarked with a degree of neutrality in his speech. "So I am to pick up an uncertain cause where I may be asked to fight my own in exchange for... Greater good?"

Briskly the Mandalorian rose to his feet and startled his pet awake.

"Last time I tried to do something for the greater good a lot of good people paid a very hefty price." Lord Cronos strode from underneath the table and stretched before allowing a yawn to escape from its reeking maw.

Judging his guest to be noble in nature because of his speech and considering he would still have to travel back from whence he came the drink would be Shig, without the splicing of Tihaar.

Ori'verda placed an empty cup before Malan and one for himself. Steam drifted upwards in its own silent melancholy as the hot brew was poured into the cups.

The Mandalorian sat down and observed the dark case and its intristic design. The odd symbol seemed distantly familiar. Like a haunting dream and a broken memory that was better to let escape his thoughts. Since his guest had placed it before him on the table he picked it up and investigated its seals.

Part 2 of 2.

At last he caught sight of Ori'verda and a strange creature next to him at the end of a long hall that was corroded with cracks and shattered bedrock. An ooze of animal stink fouled the air. Whether it was Ori'verda or his pet was left to be decided.

The room room Malan had entered was long with a high ceiling. The rectangular shape indicated its past as a clan hall where all warriors of Ori'verda's clan would meet. Malan sat down on a chair opposite of Ori'verda. The Mandalorian wore his full set of Beskar'gam which had an uncharacteristic sheen to it as the dim light from the nearby hearth played with its pattern and reflected the fickle fire danced across the black polished durasteel, between them was a low table stand beneath which a canine creature slumbered and to Malan's left was a long table with rows of chairs, goblets, bones and silverware along with an empty Beskar platter.

"Want something to drink, traveler?"

Part 1 of 2.

"You must be on a very important mission to seek me out in this secluded keep, traveler." His voice rang along the inner walls of the courtyard but was blanketed by snow long before its echo could be cast. The fall of frozen air was increasing in severity.

Ori'verda turned his back and took a few steps away from the ledge and towards the doorway into the castle. He sent out a whisper that was audible enough for Malan to hear "Let's talk some place warm." as the man attached to the voice vanished into the dimly lit opening.

Malan followed and went up the left stairway. "Remember to take off your boots!" As if an outsider had to respect Mandalorian tradition.

The inside of the fortress looked as worn as the outside. There was a damp stank that hung like a mist in the air. It dripped from the murky brown walls that were lit up in a golden hue. Sporadically and carefully their light came from by torches placed along the maze of hallways that were carved into this crag... Or maybe the crag was built around these ancient halls as the worn frescos seemed to tell. Not that there are many who still understood archaic Mandalorian in the first place.

Guiding Malan through this hellish place was a sparse reverberation of feet and talons that were coupled with distant Mando'a speech, grunts and snorts. A master and his pet.

OOC: You're in my backyard now... Can you say "Assuming Direct Control"?
Youtube.com Since this is AC's Masyaf it only seems fitting.

The winding pathway howled distant echoes of the past as Malan traversed the stretch of ice and mountain rock upwards. This fort exuded a history as old and ancient as the granite it was built on and built with. Its eroded fortress walls told tales of the time great mythical beasts roamed Mandalore. This eerie place held a warm hearth in its past but is no little more than a candlelight surrounded by the monuments of the dead and the dead did not enjoy disturbances.

Malan felt uneasy. The fact he had to deal with a man he hated made him repulsed but the feeling these jagged peaks instilled unnerved him. For a place of snow and white the pale black of dark lingered over the mountain valley as a cloak of dread. Nevertheless he pressed on.

With the dominating walls rising higher with each step and reaching well into the clouds above. Malan finally reached the gates of drab red Veshok wood that had rotten and corroded over the years and yet didn't seem as old as the walls. Particular to his character he knocked upon its walls and awaited a response. His senses finally noticing the cold as the dreadful place worked its darkness upon him. But it was not fear that held Malan. It was an unsettling urge to leave that agitated him to hatred. After all this was the home of a man he hated so why should his home escape Malan's hatred?

Finally the response came and the red wood door creaked open to reveal several stone and granite walls that sank into the ground upon each other. Gates behind gates.

With disregard for the slow service he advanced into the courtyard of this archaic citadel. His eyes choose to travel the right of two stairways leading up to a balcony that overlooked the snow and broken mosaic garden.

There, resting one hand upon the snowed stone ledge, stood Ori'verda.

Ori'verda arrives at the scene without Dhra'cyn'hal, having ordered him to retreat. As now the area becomes engulfed in warriors, slicers and medical teams treating the injured and rescuing those buried.

He examines the situation, the rubble ruin and the dead. Among them were the chief delegates of Onderon and Roche. Losing them would certainly strain relations.

As this drama unfolds a squadron of StarVipers takes note of an oddity. Civilian vehicles have stuck and there are gaps in the travelling lanes. Several Buzz Droids are deployed to investigate.

In full flight and at the zenith of its speed Dhra'cyn'hal scythes past the secondary Thane and slices it in two with its wings before grounding itself on a distant roof top. Smouldering fire in its maw, eyes bleeding.

"Luubid. Yaim."

Meanwhile the reinforcements arrive at the Assembly Building along with the slicers and begin the quick process of overwriting the system, turning the defences on the Rangers and ceiling avenues of escape where possible. Several groups of Shock Troopers enter the building whilst others turn skyward and activate their jetpacks.

Howler gunships are also unleashed upon the area.

The quick and heavily armored serpent withers the assault and out manoeuvres the Thanes in its ascent. With claws and wings it attaches upon one Thane and besets its assault on the frail shuttle. In the direction of the other one is breathes its violent blue inferno of searing heat.

Many of the Shock Troopers fall to the onslaught of the Rangers and defences but those who survive the initial attack contact Command and request more reinforcements as well as the deployment of slicers with top-level computer and security spikes. The rest regroups in secure areas to rally with the reinforcements as soon as they arrive to the scene.

Ori'verda simply ignored the sneer spat at him by T'Rani. Instead he took a few more steps forward just as a loud banging began from the gates. "My dear councillors and delegates. It would seem I have... Other matters to attend to. I shall leave you in the care of my Shock Troopers."

"T'Rani. I would prefer this were to be settled between you and me. No one else needs to suffer." The ground beneath him was cast in darkness as a great bellow shook the chambers. "As for my weapon?" The skylight above shattered as a massive serpentine beast descended and landed around Ori'verda.

"I choose dragon."

Swiftly Dhra'cyn'hal was mounted and T'Rani was nudged at to follow. He shouted: "Oh and T'Rani... Draar takisir ni ti meg joha! Uur ra Mando'a." The winged beast took flight.

The delegates sat in council when the Rangers burst in. The room marred with the heat of debate and now the stench of fear as from above their high stands the figures of authority hid and cowered beneath their desks whilst those closer to the intruders merely froze in shock, aghast at their security having turned against them.

Down at the bottom of this assembly were the first councillors of the first member worlds and in front of them stood Ori'verda.

"Well... If it isn't T'Rani. I'll have to notify the Battle-Net that your bounty will soon be claimed." He took a slow pace forward and moved sluggishly. Defiant of the fear that permeated the room. "I see you also managed to convince some of your former rank to join you? Clever. I'm sure Al'verde Falin and Novall would be impressed." He stopped. His position at the heart of the chambers. "But tell me now... Why are you here?"
