Ori`verda

Milos, the Ranger Commander joined

Greetings, stranger. Welcome to my page. I am Ori'verda AKA Milos and I currently live in the Netherlands. I like games, girls, books, movies and teamwork. Also I enjoy discussing about religion, politics, history and such affairs. And ignore the fact that a lot of my groups are Science-Fiction related, I love Sci-Fi for good reasons! ☢ ☢ ☢ P.S. The video with the redhead is not porn! I may be a crazy Serbian but I'm not that crazy. Besides that I'm a goof, in fact to show you I am going to fill up the my description with random banter, why? Yeah you guessed it, I'm not that strange or weird it is in fact to get a HTML code to work, if you don't know what that is good luck. Regardless I suppose I should continue filling out this description field according to that manual so I can get a cooler description, I don't know if that makes sense to you but according to the manual it works so it must work right? Well it should otherwise you would not be seeing this.

Akarab, Nym and Shiva appear in a different room. It is very similar to the previous room, almost exactly. Save for the pressure plates.

There are now four of them in total, three unknown and the one they arrived on.

The Jedi Master steps unto the pressure plate and vanishes into a lightning quick flash of teal engulfing him. Shiva and Nym cannot seem to find him anywhere in the room they are in.

The plate is lifted but not by much and nothing happens, however when pressed down and levelled with the ground; the Aurebesh symbol lights up and the plate is surrounded by a greenish teal wave, briefly like a flash or lightning strike.

Beyond that nothing notable has changed, the room is the same and nothing has appeared or dissappeared.

They enter deeper within the temple, the door closing behind them.

The room they are in square and plain, a single Aurebesh symbol carved into the floor on a stone panel.

The Jedi Master triggers something as several clicks resound and the wall of glyphs begins to sink into the ground revealing a passage way beyond it.

The narrow, dimly lit hall ends with a passage to the group's left.

After a while the Jedi Master finds an injured Federation commando being supported by another Federation commando and a pirate, Jack. The only three survivors. They repeat what they saw; a swarm of guardian drones led by the Sith, Darth Kay. He seemed to move unnaturally, never drawing his weapon. His presence was intimidating and all they could focus on. When they noticed the guardian droids started to attack it was nearly too late.

Shiva stands inside the temple and observes the ancient Rakatan wall of text again. She dusts off another section of the carvings.

The glyphs, the large misplaced carvings around them, ancient Rakatan poetry or message with answers to life's greatest mysteries, perhaps instead of answers it would raise yet more questions instead. It was as hopeless as Rogue was in her Imperial officer outfit, unless the foremost experts of the galaxy were gathered to bring light to this mystery.

The Ascendance attaches to Armatae and the delegation boards the Imperial station. The group is made up of Yinchorri from the Yinchorr system, part of the Ord Mantell sector. They number six in total, dressed in the typical garments of their people.

Their escorts hand over the delegates to their Imperial counterparts and return to the Ascendance while the delegation party heads over to the meeting council chambers to discuss politics and diplomacy.

All Yinchorri take their places and sit down, save for their leader who begins the diplomatic talks.

"My name is Koyuk, my government has sent us here with the request to return to the Empire. Our system was home to an Imperial Academy, the Royal Guard Academy and the 407th Legion. We wish for the Empire and our world to be returned to their glory and then surpass it."

He paused for dramatic effect.

"I understand however that this is difficult task because we are a part of the Ord Mantell sector. My government wishes to state that if it could, it would secede but hopes the Empire will at least consider making an appeal to the other planets in the sector and extend an offer for them to become members of the Empire."

Koyuk smiled, slyly.

"Or else."

Darth Kay leaves, vanishing into the darkness of the cavern. Eventually the Guardian droids stand down and disappear into the temple's security grid. The archaeologists awaken in their base and discuss the happenings of the past few days, not nothing that thanks to Jedi, Sith and pirate they were rescued. But the cost in lives was steep.

Carnifex, shaken and distraught over the loss of his Storm Commandos, reluctantly boards his transport and leaves.

"When you were given a command you specifically requested these vessels to be placed under your command."

Tawfin presses a few buttons and holographic representation of Majestic squadron is brought up.

"Two Venators, an Allegiance-class, an upgraded Praetor-class and an Interdictor-class. The Venator is a vessel that saw major use during the Clone Wars, this was several hundred years ago. The Allegiance was a heavier armed variant of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer, rarely used due to its lack of a hangar. The Praetor fell out of favour because other options, better options, were available. The Interdictor was perhaps your worst offence considering all Pellaeons come with their own gravity wells."

He let out a laugh of disbelief.

"Who ever approved this? What kind of officer would rely on these vessels? It is amazing you managed to do anything at all to the Federation. Frankly, it seems you were meant to die then and there with your antiquated relics."

Harx spoke up.

"And for your information, the Pellaeon is far superior to the Scythe-class. It has nearly twice its armament! Furthermore, you were evenly matched in numbers. As I go into the complete report I notice you failed to pick up on the centre of the enemy slowing down, you made a mistake no novice would even fall for and allowed yourself to be encircled. Finally you disabled your engines allowing the comparatively faster Federation vessels to ensnare your ships even more."

Pao turned to his fellow officers.

"Perhaps we should send him to medical to have him examined? Did he complete a psych evaluation before going on this mission? His past failures to apprehend pirates may have led to an increase in stress, the pressure of a flagship operation may have led to a lapse in judgement on his behalf."

Tawfin and Harx shot Pao a look but eventually caved in and nodded in agreement. Perhaps the man before them was simply put under a lot of stress and given too much responsibility. Eventually the Grand Admiral resumed.

"You will be given two weeks leave (4 days), during which you will have to report your activities to a medical expert who will evaluate you. Based off of that we will conclude whether or not you are still fit for duty. If you are you will be given a command over an even smaller number of vessels with the task to patrol fringe worlds, under no circumstance are you allowed to engage hostile forces without express permission from a superior officer."

Pao added in that Branden could go and do as he pleased during this two week period and gave out the advice he simply relax and left Coruscant for some more rural and backwater world.

"Dismissed."

"You flatter me but no, I am merely another adventurer. Though, unlike you, I have not gotten what I came for."

His eyes flickered towards the Padawan. "Don't waste your time. They're all either dead or soon will be. Worry about yourselves instead."

Darth Kay let out a long and exaggerated sigh.

"I have wasted enough time here. If you'll excuse me, I have more important things to attend to."

"That is good to hear. I shall forward this to the Emperor, his majesty will expect a report from you as well."

The Dark Lady gets cleared and finds its place in the hangar of the Star Destroyer, landing and deploying its gear, lowering the rampart for the crew to exit.

"In fact I suspect myself, along with the Reaper and everything assigned to it, which includes the Dark Lady, will be attached to you permanently when it comes to missions on behalf of the Empire. You've certainly left an impression."

She gave Lok an prim Imperial salute.

"I shall allow the others to be let free as well." Referring to the archeologists.

With the ritual concluded and their focus on the riddle the Rakatan priestess was able to conduct the other half of the ceremony to release them. Their minds returned to their bodies which were still inside the first room of the temple.

They awoke to the sight of a cloaked man holding the bloodied helmet of a Storm Commando. The figure noticed the bodies stir and tossed aside the helmet, turning to meet the old arrivals. Nym, Shiva and Carnifex recognized the man immediately.

It was Darth Kay.

And he was not alone, accompanying him were two dozen Guardian droids.

"Well, well you escaped the Mind Prison it seems. Well done, heroes." He chuckled maniacally, nearly bursting into insane laughter. "It is truly unfortunate, for you that is. It would seem the Infinite Starlight isn't here."

Having heard enough to comprehend and speak Galactic Basic Standard the Rakatan quite suddenly and abruptly shocks all around her, stunning them momentarily.

"Typical foolish slave. We made it, therefore it is meant for us."

Carnifex steps forward, drawing her attention.

"I'll be missed you know? I have a team of elite soldiers right outside the temple in... The other world, I guess. My freedom and in exchange I'll keep silent about Infinite Starlight."

The Rakatan female looks the treacherous Sith in the eyes as if trying to read his thoughts and discover his true intent.

"Why should I believe the word of a slave?"

Her response came with a typical cruel smile of a Sith.

"Because you don't have a choice. My people will come, hundreds of them. Can this place really sustain that much? I don't think so. Eventually, we'll have your Infinite Starlight and there's nothing you can do about it. Unless you let me go, right now."

Saddened the Rakatan caved and revealed a stone tablet with carvings near the altar and began to read from them.

"To leave the prison of the mind one must first realize the freedom of the mind."

"What can one not keep, two hold, and three destroy?"

"Which weighs more, a pound of sand or a pound of stone?"

"A natural state, I'm sought by all.
Go without me, and you shall fall.
You do me when you spend,
and use me when you eat to no end. What am I?"

The scimitar vanished from the apparition's hand just as it appeared and the ghastly figure brought up a bone hand beneath its chin in contemplation. After a while it finally caved.

A robed man enters the chambers of Imperial Naval Command and waves his hand. Many of the admirals and officers who had been under an odd spell of stupidity which the Sith Lord Azrael helped clear for his Imperial Majesty, the Emperor and in exchange for access to the archives of the Imperial Palace.

With Naval Command regaining their senses they dismiss the blueprints of the laughable starfighter designs and return to the actual topic of the meeting. The Skirmish at the Eriadan Border.

Grand Admiral Tawfin reclines casually in his chair. He sits between Admirals Pao and Harx, two of the highest ranking officers within the Navy. In the case of Harx, he was a holographic projection. Considering his task to safeguard the southern regions which Branden Magister undoubtedly made a lot more difficult. Tawfin brings the tips of his fingers together in contemplation.

"Captain Branden Magister, you are here to discuss what occurred at the Skirmish at the Eriadu-Kinyen Border. You may commence when ready."

Necross charged into battle with an overhead, downward strike.
