There are plenty of adults capable of the incompetence and gullibility displayed here. Assuming ages over the internet itself is a rather immature thing to do. I agree with you on every other point though.
It's a multiplayer mod.
Install 1.0 and then 1.21.
Late 1916 to early 1917.
We are working on Britain.
The AI won't fire because of the new shooting system we have implemented. We are looking into ways to fix it in 2.0.
There are servers up.
Which banners are you talking about?
Stationary machine guns are already in the mod.
We don't have Turks either.
There will be several new maps in the 2.0 update. Gallipoli is one of them. ;)
Try actually reading about the mod before telling us what we "need" to do.
The event went very smoothly. There was no lag with over a hundred players and only a single crash. I hope more people will join us next week.
It is playable for battle. When 2.0 releases, we may have a separate server for battle.
Thanks for the suggestion. We'll consider it.
Do you guys have any suggestions for a regiment/battalion to represent regular British troops in the mod?
We don't have Americans planned yet but if we ever start working on them, we'll consider your suggestion. Thanks.
It's very possible.
I'm pretty sure the artillery issue you're talking about has been fixed for 1.21 already. In any case, we are going to make sure 2.0 is as polished as possible upon release.
Any specific regiment from the 16th Division you are particularly interested in seeing?
If anybody is getting the missing face_gen.brf issue, install 1.0 first and then use this download.
1.0 Download: Moddb.com
Install 1.0 first and then use this download.
That sounds like a good choice considering that they fought at both Verdun and the Brusilov Offensive. Research assistance would be great. Especially useful would be a description or image of the unit markings they wore during the Battle of Verdun or Brusilov Offensive.
If there is any specific Bavarian unit you have in mind, let us know. ;)
A bit harsh, Baillie. The_Black was not trying to be insulting. However, it is correct that IE is not truly dead. People who enjoy the mod still get together occasionally to play on the official server. A mod cannot die until its community has given up on it so it would be appreciated if people aren't so quick to "lay the mod to rest." Instead, help us to rebuild the community and follow the progress of the upcoming update, Iron Europe 2.0.
