Tempting but not worth the hassle. He obviously lacks the understanding behind a mod team. I mod because I enjoy it and I like producing stuff for the community to enjoy. To be told to "get off my rich candy ass" because someone wants the mod is not really the kind of appreciation I expected. Don't get me wrong I don't do this for appreciation and I do understand that it would be cool to have a C&C Renegade Tiberium Wars mod but lets be honest the C&C Renegade engine is old now and its not really worth making a mod for it.
Something I have considered is making this mod for a better engine, perhaps Unreal Tournament 2007/ Unreal 3. Not sure if you've seen the Renegade 2007 mod for the UE3 that I'm part off but I'd love to expand on that and have a C&C 3 mod.
