Hi Gordon,

The differences to the Flash-version are as follows:

1. Ad and branding free unlike its free web version.
2. Additional control options like using the mouse wheel to switch weapons.
3. A new rendering system written using Adobe Air allowing the game to support both windowed and fullscreen mode. With fullscreen mode performing safe scaling of pixel art, preventing many distortion and filtering issues. Our free online version does not support fullscreen at all due to various issues around this.
4. Local system centric save files, vs cookies and such erased by your browser.

Hi Alex, first we're glad you enjoy and like A.R.C.S =)

The major differences is that this premium version of the game is built in adobe air as a true standalone windows or mac game instead of as a typical flash file, and in doing so has received the following:

As the game has been rebuilt, and compiled out to Windows and Mac, this is why there is no Linux version available in this case.

The differences should be clearly shown on our website, and I thought they we're in the Desura description, however it seems this description is out of date, and is something we will resolve immediately.

We did some after really annoying spots for the sake of "smooth game-play". Sigh.

There's a small web-demo. Obviously it doesn't run as smoothly in a browser.
