Well I've been a big supporter of X-Box since the original console (not One but number one) was released. I'm not sure how I feel about Microsoft's new console, but my feelings so far are surprisingly negative. They have not announced a single interesting thing during their two talks (the unveiling and the E3 conference) and have basically laid down a long list of reasons not to buy their console. I'm not going to cover them all, I'm sure most people know about them at this point (required internet/kinect, no normal used games/sharing games, no indie love, rape joke etc) Wait, did I say rape jokes? There is no way a big time company like Microsoft would make a rape joke during a press conference at E3. Sadly, they did, and the dwindling flame I had for X-Box is all but extinguished. I was shocked and disgusted by the comment, and then they didn't even appologize, they said "The demo was meant to include friendly gameplay banter and there was there was no ill intent.” That may have been gameplay banter that you could make between friends (I know my personal circle can get quite graphic), but at E3, insinuating he was raping her? It was completely inexcusable.

Maybe I will become a PS4 person (after all I do love Drake's Fortune). But I'm about to watch Playstation's presentation, see if they can one up X-Box and umm . . . actually they would have a hard time doing that, outside of actually raping someone in front of the audience.
