Can I run this mod if I only have Dark Crusade?

After having played a few skirmishes I'd like to level a few criticisms.
The most obvious one is the inability to reinforce in the field outside of a transport or field post. While this worked fabulously in Company of Heroes, another Relic game with similar mechanics to Dawn of War, the mechanics were more suited towards it. Namely, in your mod, a squad comes less than half reinforced, and units must be reinforced on a timer until the squad has reached the desired strength. For instance, if I make a squad of Slugga Boyz, they come at 8/30 strength. This means that if I want to deploy a squad of Slugga Boyz, I have to reinforce them to full strength at HQ before deploying them. Additionally, the reinforce queue of 6 units is substantially shorter than the full 30 man squad limit, which means I have to repeatedly select and reinforce the squad to completion. This system would work better if I could choose squad sizes at the unit production building (e.g. Boyz Hut) and have an appropriate build time to reflect that.

The second issue I have is that this distinguishes the game from the tabletop game. In the tabletop, it takes no more time to place a unit of 30 boyz than a unit of 10 boyz. The only difference is cost. Time is not an issue. While this is more in line with DoW's base game mechanics, it is not in the spirit of the tabletop game.

Is 3.6 stable, and is there a 3.7 available online?

Such a beautiful texture, the modeling in this game is really fantastic, and far above the vanilla textures.
Another thing I was really impressed by was the Flayed Ones....they look so much better!
Thank you for your excellent work.

This mod is amazing. The modeling is so incredibly good and it is very codex-friendly. This is going to increase the longevity of Dawn of War for me considerably.

I had another issue, which is that the carbine assault rifle Sig 552 and G36 Compact both have greater penetration values than their longer-barreled 5.56 cousins. This doesn't make any sense. A shorter barrel means less time to accelerate, ergo reduced velocity at the muzzle, ergo reduced kinetic energy at the muzzle. This means less external penetration. In a nutshell, the Sig 552 and G36C need reduced penetration values.

This mod is perfect and everything I could have asked for.

The level of knowledge that went into its construction staggered me. You've done a lot of research and a lot of fine tuning and the result is definitely that the game feels more authentic.

Niggling issues like the fact that 9mm submachine guns outpenetrate PDWs in the vanilla game are resolved.

The game with this mod installed feels more realistic and the weapons have personality. I was also surprised to see that the changes to weapon handling made the controls feel so much cleaner and the gameplay more sensible as a result. RB6V2 has more variety and it is ultimately more playable as a result of the mod.

I do still have a couple of niggling issues, however.

The AK-47 has less penetration than assault rifles carrying the 5.56. This is unrealistic. The AK-47's round carries much more kinetic energy than the 5.56 which translates to better penetration of obstacles. There's a fantastic demonstration of this from the Discovery Channel. That same documentary also shows that the AK-47 has very unreliable accuracy at range, failing to match the shot grouping at 200 yards of the M-16...in fact, it managed to completely miss a torso sized target at 200 yards in 5 rounds. The AK-47's 7.62x39mm round also suffers from another drawback, namely the fact that its heavy bullet descends rapidly at range, making it more difficult to strike targets at longer ranges. I think this could be simply and aptly reflected by increasing the penetration of the AK-47 to surpass the 5.56 assault rifles and decreasing the accuracy and range stats.
