The following is a random blog after months of no blog posts on the website on my side. Having an idea of a quick topic and an original new game I wrote this (apologies for a lack of image content):
Black Sea is an upcoming RTT game made by the Battlefront company which is known for its realistic war-themed video games that cover both historic and "what-if" of the World. This will be the latest game on the CM series that is using an upgraded version of the titular engine. This the modern warfare to its fullest with a max approximately regiment-sized force that can appear on the map. UAVs, intelligent precision munitions and the other technological horrors of the 21st century in war.
The game takes place somewhere in 2017 in Ukraine where a proxy war erupts too far and a war between old superpowers rages on. There's the NATO side represented by U.S. Army and the OPFOR by Russian Ground Forces' tank formations, Motorized Rifleman combat groups and the infamous Spetsnaz recon troops. Ukraine Armed Forces are in the middle, being the weakest organized military faction in the war with a horrendous lack of modern technological wonders. Fighting occurs in a asymmetrical way, there's no stable frontlines and no way of knowing what will be the next move in this complex conflict.
Basically I wanted to promote this upcoming game because it is IMHO not like any other that I have seen. It is an interesting new concept and a scenario like not other ever before thought of. Most probable release date according to their forums is this year, probably sometime in December. Any thoughts on this one guys?
