Granted, there is only one Shotgun base receiver, The SABre SG, but is equally customizable, with an added bonus: Special rounds. We'll talk a bit more on that once we finalize it.
Haha, admittedly we've skimped on the pistols for now, but we have some additional weapons and equipment in store to make up for it ;)
Yes, as a general rule, expect everything to be a WIP. That's not even the real model for the arms.
I almost wanna say the creepin' Peter should be a recurring character.
I vote that we at least put him in as an Easter egg...
Haha yes the page has all the actual info. We just wanted to have a little fun with the video.
Yep, fragfest is correct. The TALON and VSPR weapon base receivers will be included, and you'll have all the components to make shotgun, assault, sniper, etc. configurations. There's scopes, sights, lasers, different ammo types, and more. :)
Update coming! :)
Thank you. This is a bit of a side project, it'll get updates in between major Subvert milestones.
To me, the GITS inspiration is the most obvious on the design itself, though the realistic texture work triggers the P90 comparison in my mind.
That's a bit near-sighted, my friend. You need to expand your horizons. Many f2p games look like **** compared to this and do extremely well. Hell, CS is still played over the better-looking CS:S. It's not ALL about graphics.
With that said, I do think these guys have put a great effort into polish, which is way more important. Every piece looks like it received the tlc it needs. You are also vastly under-estimating Unity's potential. Not only is a great engine already, there are MAJOR engine upgrades coming in the next few months.
To correct some misinformation: The Browser player and Stand-alone code are practically identical, so it will run fine in either (and already does as evident in the bullseye and running man demos).
Any of our followers have Android phones? Interested in what kinda ya'll got. :)

It's been a while since our last update, but rest assured, we have plenty of updates in the pipeline.
Ah, yes. To be clear: the name is still Subvert, however the work we are showing is for the prototype. Once the game reaches a certain stage of completion (after letting out in the wild, testing and iterating), we'll change it back.
Thank you, thank you!
@Waddlesticks We'll be officially launching soon, I'm just making sure it all works since and preparing the design to make sure it all holds up.
You're free to browse other pages. If you had something constructive to say I'd be all ears, but if you're going to be a (bad) troll, I'll simply delete your comments.
Or you can behave like an adult and contribute. Up to you.
I'm so flattered- we've already had two trolls since launching the page!
Our website will be going live soon, with updates and a community forum. Stay tuned!
Hey guys and gals, If you have a minute please stop by Kickstarter.com and like our page, right under the video. If you're feeling EXTRA generous, we have various rewards for those who back the project. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind words, it's this kind of reaction that motivates us! At the moment, we're focusing on the MP component, but that is not to say that there absolutely won't be a single player coming. However, there are added development costs that come along with adding features/modes, so we are focusing our resources and time on one thing for now. Let's keep our fingers crossed!
It's processing at the moment. Thanks for the heads up!
For sure. Make sure you follow him, He's DCVR on the developer members list!
Good catch! You got us. I think we're gonna bust out the artistic license on this one though. :)
@bioswat Although, the fall release target is outdated, we're on track to release next spring. Thanks for visiting the page, though :)
Looks great. I get a borderlands vibe
